Hello I have a question does Kenmore still make the Kenmore Elite pet friendly upright vacuum with the dirt sensor also does that canister come with the Powermate for like cleaning furniture and everything I didn't know Kenmore still made vacuums that's why I was asking about that these two models here love your Channel and will continue to watch God bless you
I can't get the hose to pop off to replace the bag. The plastic clip that you pull up to release the hose is very flimsy and I don't want to force it and break it. Any suggestions? I haven't been able to find a video on the 400 series bag replacement.
@@VacMaster1991 I was able to get it off before I saw your reply. The clip was broken : ( It's not a very strong plastic and I can see how it could break easily.
Good day. While these machines clean very well as you experienced with your bagless machine, there is a design flaw on these bagged models. The place where the dirt enters the bag is not sealed very well and does leak meaning some dirt bypasses the bag, which is your primary filter. If allergies are a concern, this isn't an ideal machine because of that. Secondly that lever control is a motor speed control, you may also have a suction relief, but I haven't used any Kenmore canister newer than 2005 or so. As far as the rest of the Kenmore bagged canister experience, everybody's cleaning needs are different so I'm not going to try to spoil your review with my opinions.
@@VacMaster1991 Yeah, that is the one thing that I really want them to fix with these Kenmore canisters. Other than that, they are great for the money and the new Cleva ones even have improvements that make them better and more durable than the old ones. For example, they fixed the common failure point of the wheels on the power nozzle wearing by putting metal axles in them. They could certainly update their HEPA bags to have a rubber seal and make a dock that utilizes it. The hose actually presses onto a foam seal on the other side of the dock, not into the bag. The bag relies on another foam seal to prevent dust from leaking. Using the HEPA Q bags helps. I always suggest rinsing the pre-motor filter every so often and perhaps wiping the inside of the bag housing if necessary. Also, I think they removed the suction bleed on the hoses with the power control.
I would venture to say a 1998 Kenmore canister you're talking about bought brand new in 1998 would possibly be the equivalent of $600 or $700 2024 dollars
Thumbs up for the cat cameo. 😄
@@quills947 lol thanks
your cat like ooo a bag i love your cats

Yes. They do.
I've been wanting to get one of these Kenmore canister vacuums. Where did you purchase this vacuum?😄😎
Amazon
Looks like a decent machine for the price. I'm disappointed there is no headlight. Thanks for sharing
The bagless model has headlights
ANY UPDATE ON THIS?
@@VacMaster1991
I'd like to see how to remove the tube from the vacuum itself
There is a leaver at the base of the hose. Press it and the hose pops off.
@@VacMaster1991 found it thank you
No prob. Glad I could help
When you vacuum the kitty litter rug can you do some slow motion shots
I will do a separate slow motion video of that

That's the only way to do it. Try pulling a little harder. Mine was a little stiff the first time I opened it. Now it's fine

Ahh ok.
Also can you do a video on the Hoover Power Scrub Elite carpet washer in the smart watch thanks a lot
Great suggestion!
NICE!!!

The lever does control motor speed. I will make sure to see if there is any leakage.
So I noticed that the hose actually pokes in to the opening of the bag. So there shouldn't be any leaks. We shall see

@@VacMaster1991 Were there any leaks?

Cool
One thing I can say is Mieles better
They are no where near the quality of my 1998 kenmore,,poorly built junk compared to the older ones
It's a decent vacuum. I would pick my dyson any day though
