I'm rather liking this dual amp set up. Have been using your idea of separating the amp and cab blocks so two amps, path A and B going into a dual cab. Then experimenting with the pan of the two amp outputs between the two cabs.
I'm trying to leave space for an external fx loop to recruit my Volante in for echo and some reverb.
If there isn't space for a compressor or drive block then I'm looking at Sag and Bias settings to add squish and compression. Lots of work to do yet but very promising results so far.

Love those tones. Plate reverb is my favorite. The closeups on the HX Stomp made it really easy to see the Settings. Glad you mentioned that the Presets should work on all guitars. I always wonder how a Preset created on Single Coil pickups is going to sound on Humbuckers or some other type.

Silly question - which folder are the presets being loaded into? I keep checking but cant see anything new from purchasing nearly 2 months ago? Cheers
Probably not like we hear it here. The pickups in his Strat are at the other end of the tonal spectrum from the SD Hyperions. You’ll want to reduce gain and channel volume

I have Stomp XL running 3.5 firmware. My system is giving me several different options for the cabs that are not shown here. It looks like the Amp/Cab selections shown in this video are "legacy" items, and the settings available are a little different than the new 3.5 versions maybe? Also, the options for the Glitz delay are quite different than shown here. It looks like the Glitz delay pedal is quite a bit different as far as available settings. I don't see a legacy Glitz pedal in the Stomp. So, have to sort out the settings using the new Glitz pedal I guess. Anyway, thanks a ton for doing this. It is a huge help along the learning curve for me.

Really like these "new" tones. Would you mind/consider doing a video on your current signal path/chain? I'm really very interested in how you hear these sounds in the room plus into your DAW/Monitors? Also, perhaps how you might use your presets in conjunction with a "traditional" amp (combo) and use the amps power amp and speaker (4 cable, etc.)? There are loads of options, yes. But pointers would be very welcome. I'm using an LT via 4CM and using the volume knob to "attenuate" my 5W beast (no master volume on the amp). But that causes a few problems with AMP+CAB presets. A mini series perhaps??? :) Cheers.
Hey Roland! My signal chain is just Helix/HX stomp straight into sound card - in the room I'm just hearing monitors.
When playing live, what I've found most unfussy and satisfying more recently is just plugging the hx stomp straight into the return of an amp, leaving the IRs and everything on. I know it seems wrong, but when I turn that up, it doesn't get spikey etc, it just gets louder and stays round etc in a way that I've found FRFR/no IR tends to get quite brash and trebly when you turn up loud?

If this is a jazz guitar sound, its heavily influenced by Pat Metheny, Although, to my knowledge, he never when this ambient. This is beautiful!

There is no reverb....It's just recorded in a really big room
