Main Venom user I had a hard time with in this game has always been Dark Cloud X. When playing him, it feels like he controls the freakin gravity in the game.

Thanks for not abusing the Wolverine infinite. I loved this game but at the height of the MAME days, it was seriously frustrating getting stuck in an infinite with no pop out mechanic
I remember those days. What makes it worse was that he has something similar in MVSF with his beserker rage super. That's probably why he was nerfed to all hell in MVC2.

Venom was my main in mvc1. I like to throw that web grab after I air comboed someone into a corner. Worked everytime somehow
Suggestions: Norimaro matches on MvSF. Play a SF team in XvSF matches. Play Darkstalkers 3 matches. Play viewer picked char and super in 3S.

@@cMARVEL360 Yes, emulation of these classic systems is easy. Let's not forget it was meant to work well in early 00s pcs, that is when the Capcom and SNK emulators were made if I'm not mistaken. And the emulation performance was already nice at that time.

Justin, can you use other characters besides wolvie and strider? I always see you use these two in mvc1. You use other characters in mvc2.
Good idea. In MvC2 he is more open to try low tiers, do viewers choice teams, these kind of handicaps. But not much on the early Marvel games. I want to see how he does without a not busted team. Also in old SF games where he tends to abuse tiers
@@carlosaugusto9821 exactly...strider and wolverine are broken characters. In ST he always takes Super sagat and not turbo sagat. Super sagat is the strongest and most broken character in the game. He also complains about grapplers yet zones the crap out of every single character he faces.
I miss back when versus games weren't all about ToDs. Good set.

Did FC update the MVC ROM file? I noticed the one that was used before had non flickering and when you would do duo team attack (the one where you control both characters) the background was just red. The normal arcade version had flickering and when you'd do duo team attack the background would change colors.

Venom is one of those characters that legitimately struggles to not be cool
Venom and Carnage, the lizard, Hobgoblin, green goblin ect, theres something awesomely goofy about Spidey villain. Spider man content is like the goofy golden age of comics just being all up in your face with it, thats why Spider-man and his villains are some of my favorites.
We need a runback on this tho
