I’ve been watching your fitness stuff for a very long time, but your vlogs are important. You’ve taught not only me, but I’m sure a lot of people that it’s OKAY to live a simple normal life. It’s OKAY to be an introvert. It’s OKAY to disconnect and be quiet sometimes. Like if you HAVE to go back to fitness videos, so be it. Maybe do a fitness video on Wednesday, and a vlog on Sunday’s? I know it’s hard work, but man…your vlog is the thing I look forward to the most on Sunday’s which is my rest/reset day as well. But don’t just think you won’t do well if you started another channel just for vlogs. You have 606,000 subscribers. I know there are quite a few here who would LOVE a purely vlog channel. Sorry for the long tangent, but you’re one of my biggest inspirations. And your vlogs have helped me a lot mentally grow as a person, as your fitness videos have helped a lot physically. As a newcomer to your channel, I discovered you through your fitness content. I subscribe because of the vlogs. It gave me a little more insight into who you are and how you maintain your fitness lifestyle. I started my fitness journey and I noticed I like to watch vlogs that surrounds the fitness content that shows a routine but, incorporates fashion, food, day to day activities, etc. I know it’s hard to find that sweet-spot but, you do great content to get the outcome you want.
Hey Man, my suggestion is do BOTH in the same video: (1) Start with the Fitness, (2) end with a vlog. -- could be a half-half split, or 70%-30% etc.. You're more than a fitness expert - you're also a personality, and lot of us enjoy both! so my recommendation is keep both, just combine into one video.... If you think of the fitness video as a perfectly made cheesecake, the vlog on top of that is just freshly added bluberries and strawberries! :D We want both!
I’ll be honest I just started following you day before yesterday. The minute I clicked one of your vlogs I immediately fell in love with your channel. Watched 60% of the vlogs. I really enjoy them. I mostly enjoy them because the vlogs are showcasing the normal side of anyone in the fitness industry. It has influenced me a lot, I mean a lot. I was struggling so much with waking up in the morning and sorting out my shit, but your vlogs made me wake up today at 7:00am and sort out my shit. Keep them coming. It’s brilliant and beautiful.
A vlog a week will be great, it brings you closer to us, like we are friends. Rest of the videos can be fitness, I started following you for that but your vlogs are addictive.
I followed you for your workouts the Vlogs are just a bonus. Seeing you live this dream introvert lifestyle definitely made you a lot more interesting/relatable to me . It definitely moved me to support your platforms more . I think you should do what you have to do . We all want you to grow to your greatest potential . If the vlogs aren’t getting as much traffic as your fitness videos . Just check-in with us once in awhile, and vlog special events, vacations etc. . Definitely don’t stop the vlogs. You can probably use the next couple of months as a trial/testing period to see what video arrangement works out best- maybe an interchange of fitness videos and then vlogs the following film week or videos that incorporate both. But I think having vlogs display your whole person as best as possible. Fitness is just one aspect of you
These vlogs are so aesthetically pleasing and nice to watch on a Sunday afternoon, I really hope you choose to continue making them. Your fitness vids brought me to the channel like most others, and I would imagine you could just distinguish those going forward by labeling them “Fit Vid 12/17/21” or something.
You can do both in one channel. If it does come down to it. Start a new channel as a passion project, nothing too serious. Focus on your main fitness channel, then on the side do your vlogs. You shouldn't be tied to a schedule for vlogs on your second channel as you should be for your main. If your vlogs do pick up traction then you could focus more on it then. Remember, dont sweat the small things. Do what you makes you happy. We're always gonna support you!

Use this channel for both vlog and fitness content! What I've seen that works quite effectively (as a viewer) is when a channel makes distinct thumbnails to distinguish between their different content (i.e. different colour thumbnails, clear and consistent video descriptions, etc.) This allows audience members to effectively distinguish between types of videos/series and view the ones they enjoy the most. I love that you have opened the door for transparency on your channel and I don't usually comment but I was thinking you could post twice a week( if that is not too much to ask). I maybe a little bias because I love love love the vlogs but I understand you have to account for your financial stability and I will support you no matter the content as when I started watching you I was not into fitness at all it was the little sneak peeks of your personality intertwined into the videos. So you could continue to post the vlogs on Sunday and do a fitness video maybe Wednesday or Thursday as I always find myself missing you throughout the week as I wait on another Sunday vlog. If the twice a week is not attainable I am sure me and others would understand and you can focus on your fitness related content and try to do a vlog here and there. You could totally do both. You could save the vlogs for major events or milestones or just regular check-ins. You could go live for Q&A or follow along workouts. Blooper reels from all your fitness content would be hilarious. You could also recap the year with favorite moments and talk about goals for next year.

I just found your channel. Don’t stop the vlogs. Or do a vlog once a week or so. It’s motivation for me to continue my healthy journey plus it’s calming.
Love the transparency, always critical to maintain & evolve your key points of differentiation. I follow dozens of fitness channels and when i want to improve as individual/athlete i go back to your older workout videos. Your fitness content is the best out there, would love to see how it continues to evolve that in 2022.
Please, don´t stop the Vlog! You should do it togehther with the fitness stuff...leave it as it is. This is so refreshing different, to all "others"! I love the quiet and relaxing "Obi" way.

Don't stop the vlogs man! It honestly helps heaps with my cut journey and I still to this day live by what you have said: "You should enjoy the journey and it shouldn't be like here we go again" I watch your videos most mornings if there something new, and helps me get along so much!
I started following you because of the fitness content but i fell in love with the vlogs ... i think starting another channel mainly for vlogs can work if you dont like that idea you can do fitness in 1 week then vlogs the next week , just dont quit the vligs we love em 😉Merry Christmas

You could totally do both. You could save the vlogs for major events or milestones or just regular check-ins. You could go live for Q&A or follow along workouts. Blooper reels from all your fitness content would be hilarious. You could also recap the year with favorite moments and talk about goals for next year.

I have subscribed to your channel because of the fitness, but I definitely stayed for the vlogs, I haven’t missed one of them since you started posting 🥰 Especially since like you said yourself, it’s your passion project, so maybe a nice balance of both would be beneficial not only for us, but for you also ❤️ Maybe a second channel would be a good idea as RUclips likes to push what you’re good at and if you have been doing fitness on this channel for so long it might not like you doing something else, but if your other channel would be all about the vlogs and lifestyle the algorithm might be a bit better 😉
