Fantastic compilation! I remember every one of these. Along with the Hail Mary, my favorite was the 83-yarder in the 1973 playoff game. I was screaming so loud that my mother thought I was hurt.
70s All Decade Team Super Bowl Champion Invented Hail Mary play Nickname Mr.Clutch #88 made the number popular along with Lynn Swann. Roger Staubach favorite target free agent former Tulsa Quarterback Drew Pearson! Hall of Famer
Now that Pearson is finally in his rightful place in the pro football Hall of Fame, it's WAY past time to induct the legendary athlete and outside LB #54........ CHUCK HOWLEY🏈
Drew definitely toned down his TD spikes after he got hurt in that Giants game where he scored three. I remember reading that it came from Landry. Glad he's in the Hall... finally! He deserves it.
Yes, but here's how it went down...Drew scored the TD against the Giants spiked the ball and came down wrong injuring his knee. This pissed off Landry...what did Landry do?...He told Roger to call the next play deep to Drew to teach him a lesson whenever they got the ball back. So, Roger calls the play in the huddle and Drew says Oh!...Drew goes deep and scores a 44 yard TD (career # 38) !
His first two scores against the Cards were unforgettable for another reason: Staubach’s mother had died of cancer a couple of days before and he was obviously still grieving.
Drew is the big part why Dallas got to in career 3 Super Bowls and 7 NFC Championships. When that car accident happened that forced him to retire, the Cowboys lost a big part of the offense.
3 guys who I think could throw the football just as good as any Quarterback. Walter Payton - Marcus Allen and Drew Pearson !! They could all throw the shit out of a football
I know I wasn't the only one that noticed after getting hurt jumping and spiking the ball he did not spike the ball not one time after that incident congratulations Hall of Famer free agent
@@yebobbummann1622 He was a top 5 receiver throughout his career and played in an era were there were 14 games in a season. He was named to three First-team All-Pros and was named to the 1970s All-Decade Team. And of course, he caught the original Hail Mary. He made many fans throughout his tenure in Dallas. To me, it looks like enough to get in.
This is amazing. Drew has been my hero since I was probably 8 years old in 1975.
My favorite Cowboys player of all time...Mr. Clutch...I swear I never saw him drop a pass that was catchable...OG88
I was a BIG Pearson fan growing up i didn't know he had that many TD's Drew got it done !!
Congrats Drew Pearson! Was about time!
The ORIGINAL #88
The man should've been in the HOF a long time ago. Better late than never I suppose.
Thank you for putting this together being able to watch all of Drew Pearson's touchdowns was fantastic. He was special one of a kind.
Coach Tom Landry is smiling in heaven.

What a great compilation of the great 70s Cowboys teams and Drews highlights as well, thanks for posting !
The original #88. This man should of been in the HOF sooner than 2021. Congratulations!!!!. And F the previous HOF voters.
So smooth so clutch….Smooth hands Drew !
Danny White was a really, really good QB.
Yes, those injuries unfortunately affected his career
The Hail Mary play was named after #88 Drew Pearson and #12 Roger Staubach. Welcome to your rightful place Canton Ohio Hall of Fame!

LOVED DREW PEARSON! Who didn’t???
He gave Michael Irvin his game
Pearson was such a smooth operator.
I may start watching the NFL again, after seeing Mr. Drew's highlights. Get at me Goodell. I have some great ideas for the bounce back.
Goodell does need help, he is sending the wrong message
That spike was the best ever lol
I still say he definitely belongs in the hall of fame

Landry never liked the spike. He told the young players - act like you've been there before.
From Washington DC my whole life is in these films 🎥
proud to say i met him and took a pic with his rings o my fingers :)

Wow interesting stuff
Pearson caught a TD pass from Gary Hogeboom @ 12:05.

What’s the music playing in the background in the first 3 touch downs? Amazing!
It’s composed by William loose. Search William loose NFL films music
Great taste in music btw. Especially love the track played during the third touchdown against the Rams. That’s another William Loose track.
@@spencerpearson3986 Thank you soooo much!!!

Had he scored more TDs he'd likely have made the HOF sooner. With 48 regular season and 8 post-season TDs.
Looks like deon prime time took drew celebration move towards the end zone with the long leg stride
Clutch!
Him wearing those goofy socks & spiking the ball looked corny.
Shouldn't be in the HOF.
Why
Troll much?
Reasoning?
@@ajburrr Only 48 receiving touchdowns and only twice did he go over 1000 yards. Not exactly HOF numbers.
