You are so vibrant and inspiring soul. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the world 🌎. Some people feel the rain, others just get wet. Just wow! I definitely feel the rain, I almost talk to it. Feel sad when somebody feel that a rainy day is depressing, I hear this alot, specially in England. Love from Brazil 🇧🇷 ❤
Agreed! I didn’t fully appreciate the rain until I got into mushrooms a couple years ago. Here in California we get so little rain that it is a real special occasion for me now! Hiking in the rain is wonderful, and the best part is hardly anyone else is out so you get nature all to yourself!
Oh just brought bags of rosehips from my vacation trip to mountains, drying and gonna make oil and tincture. Thank you for beautiful and informative video.
Your channel is a storehouse of joy and useful healthy knowledge. I really appreciate your work. Im looking forward putting some of these techniques this year ❤ Blessings to you and your family
Your enthusiasm always gets me pumped up, thanks for bringing such positive energy to the channel! Love all your work, and just bought your book as well!
Thanks guy’s. I am drying my Rosehips now. I like the tip about stringing them. Never would have thought to do that. I made your Rosehip infused oil and use it daily. Love it! Much Love to you both 🤗
9:27 really enjoyed this. Made elderberry syrup today using your video. Making Rosehip lip balm and Rosehip syrup using your videos. Love your foraging book. So helpful.
Just found your channel and have binge watched alot of your videos! What a great channel, i have a 5 acre woodland i planted with native trees 10 years ago, nearly all the plants you have shown on your channel grow on my land in the woodland or around it. I have just purchased your book off the back of watching your videos and i look forward to reading it and making the things you have in your videos, thank you for videos and knowledge!
Hey you two, how serene to hear that melancholic picking of the guitar. I dislike anyone saying things like 'how lucky you are' to be living in the part of the land you are re the intro but HOW BLOODY LUCKY YO...😂 The Rosehip has been an absolute staple of mines and my daughter's for a couple of years now. We are in the north west of Scotland and seems to be around December/January before they are soft enough to squeeze that goodness right out of the berry. Wonder when the ripe moment is for you down there? The sunrise was everything that cannot be described. Thank you and a very blessed Samhain/Halloween to you and yours 🧡
The view is of the south downs here in Sussex 😁 Scotland a beautiful place we hope to travel across 9ne day! We pick them the same time as you for more squishyness but for tea we pick them abit earlier just because we can 😁 Glad your enjoying our channel ✌️🙂
Do the proper rosehips grow in the US? Loved finding you. Quickly subscribed!! I'm in my sixties and just starting to learn about herbalism(?). Thank you both so much❤
Yes! They only grow on heritage roses, not on hybrids. You will see them turning red at this time of year, especially after the first frost. My rose bush is covered with them!
Just found yr channel absolving love with you guys. Thank you so much for making an informative but easy watching video. I'm going to check them all out. You two are adorable and I'm loving how you keep things simple and easy to follow. Some videos make things to complicated and yours was a dream to follow so thank you xxx
Another brilliant video. I've a dehydrator coming on the weekend so will definitely be drying some out for tea. I've just finished first batch of Rosehip syrup from your recipe, will need to get some more done before they're all gone!
u guys are great! on the west coast of Canada, we have many rosehips, they r hard right now...so i will pick and freeze overnite..great tip...thankyou!
Its fine of you dont boil the hell out of it. He did go over this point in the video, it lowers the nutritional value, doesn’t completely destroy it. Just below boiling temp and longer steeping time is best.
I love your videos. You and your family are precious. I also have to comment on the tattoo on the palm of your hand....that is a tough place to get ink?
Hi Cheryl glad you enjoy our videos 😁 yes the palm is a really tough place for a tattoo had it all my tattoo's done very young, spending alot of my adult life having them changed 🤣

Just been out foraging rosehips some for syrup, some for drying and then infusing in oil. It's great for the more mature skin

In the 1960's school used to have an annual Rosehip picking. We then took them to school. Hedgerows were full of them but don't see them as much now.
Such a wonderful character and such an amazing channel this is.

Is boiling the rosehips not killing the vitamin c?
Very good question to bad he has not answered you yet
My thoughts. I would infuse it in room temp water tbh
Its fine of you dont boil the hell out of it. He did go over this point in the video, it lowers the nutritional value, doesn’t completely destroy it. Just below boiling temp and longer steeping time is best.
