I just ordered the 256 gig model. Can't wait to plug in and play! Perfectly Imperfect to me. And I love the old-school aesthetic. I'm 45 years old, I grew up with the NES and all that so this thing is very appealing to me. You said 95% of all games work... Sold.
Well, I can't build a Pi system for less than this and the emulators seem to be better supported and the more difficult ones seem to run better. I'm going to recommend this the next time someone asks me to build a retropie system.
Just received this. For the price of $95, it’s excellent since it comes with over 50,000 retro games. Every retro console that comes with thousands of retro games are not going to be absolutely one hundred percent perfect. Remember this - these are not licensed games. If you desire perfection, they you need to purchase consoles with licensed games. China produces loads of these type of android boxes. Some will be better than others. You must do the research first prior to considering any console loaded with unlicensed games.
My friend was wondering there are images out there that one could find and load onto a more powerful device. He already has the controllers and stuff. And the physical legally obtained copies of all the games.

I don’t give much a crap for the power intensive Tekkens or racing games. I’ve got a PS4 and PS3 already. Buying this for those creepy sounding Amiga games. The sound and music on those things is extremely cool! Commodore 64, Spectrum, NES, SNES, Genesis is what I’m into. Dreamcast, Saturn, NS4 I’m not too bothered with.
Sounds like they didn’t properly associate all the emulators with the games. Turning off the bezels if it’s similar to retropie is 2 fold. U have to turn the bezels off then disable another option in the emulator. If the console games r crashing at launch that’s really bad. That’s more common for arcade titles.
yea it's an easy fix by going into the emulator settings and pointing things to the right emulator path, but it definitely should have been caught before it went out the door for sale. Bezels don't have to be turned off per each emulator, global settings have always worked in the past.
@@cooltoy ya a lot of people don’t go through each game or rom pack checking. Global settings for emulators will work sometimes but if it’s a different emulator and also doesn’t save when u exit u gotta do it each time.

I noticed that when you went on the screen to change the bezel, the bottom of the screen shows that "A"is select. Maybe, you have to hit select button to confirm before you hit the back button. That's only my guess though 👍
By the way, I have lots of licensed Hanes which are far from perfect. Many contain all kinds of glitches. Some software companies have better Staff than others. The ones who are experienced will make better games. They must know the console backwards and forwards.

Can the Super Console x Pro Cube Retro game console play Sega Saturn game and PlayStation 2 game with an additional emulation in each game console ROM? I'm curious.
I got the cube and got the same controllers in the video and everything worked good. Then i bought some snes wireless controllers and configured them and it jacked the original controllers. Now when i go back to configure the original controllers the select button doesnt register that i am pressing it and after i configure one analog stick i cant configure the other, it says already taken. Is there a way i can wipe out all the controller settings?

Always love these product reviews even when the product is craptastic. For this one, you could get better results with an old Optiplex. This is basically just a Raspberry Pi running Batocera. I built a budget emulation machine on my channel for about $15 and it performs way better. But you also have to know what you’re doing lol. This could be useful for someone who doesn’t want to mess with downloading roms, metadata, etc.
Optiplex is a pc of course it would be better. People want just a smalll thing and already everything included thats why they want to buy these things and it's more than a PI because Pi4 can't even run n64 decently. I'm waiting for the Chinese to make one console which also can run gamecube and wii and is not above $300 :s
I think the super console x stick is the best form factor. Plus it uses usb power which can be sourced by the tv. I have the original version. Love playing crazy taxi on it.
@@r.t.8468 it plays it pretty well. Mine has the Naomi version and Dreamcast version. If you are a super serious player then I would recommend playing on pc via emulation to get the absolute best experience. There is an xbox 360 port and ps3 port. Not sure if they have been delisted in the online stores for both consoles.
"best to purchase" depends on many things such as a person's budget, which games/emulators they value the most out of, what features a consumer wants etc. There is no "best" item for every person
My experience with this console isn't completely satisfactory. It's fantastic for most games but if you're playing really big games like the N64 legend of zelda, the in-game saves as well as the save and load states are unreliable. They'll save for a while but then, without warning, you'll find them just gone. As if you never played it. On one attempt, the save state got stuck on a 0% permanent loop and the system froze when attempting to exit the game. I could no longer save anything after turning the system back on, so I did a factory default reset on it. The system startup had a totally different boot up video AND nearly 9,000 games vanished. It was no longer "Kinhank". Just an "Emulation Station" and start + select exit function no longer exists.
what is the device that is way more powerful and has 1000s of games installed. Dont want to buy this and then regret it and have to buy something else.

When I got a Pi3B+ canakit via eBay it was 90 dollars in 2019.
I checked and now that same kit or the pi4 canakit costs 120 dollars or so.

You are in the game settings instead of the system settings, you can remove the bezels easily
Not bad for $99.00 dollars on Amazon. For having that many games, I think it’s worth it. Even if some games don’t run well.

pretty much any standard USB controller will work, you'll just have to map the buttons to your liking once you connect it
