    Kamiz or Qamis is an Arabic word. After the Arab conquest of Spain, many words were adapted in the Spanish language. That's why you will find so many similar words both in Urdu/Hindi and Arabic.

      ​@@r.b6170Tu is not derived from Arabic. Also Many words in Hindi are taken from Persian language. So kameez and Mez are persian words used in Hindi. Tu is derived from Sanskrit, In Sanskrit it's Twam which has became tu in Hindi as well as in many regional languages.

      Urdu was actually first, and hindus just wrote it using the devanagari alphabet. Urdu was derived from persian and arabic, and the hindus took all of those out of hindi. Also, there are still many traces of arabic words in hindi like the words dunya, qamis, kursee hisab qanoon, etc

      Similarities in food habits is because of the portuguese. They introduced foods like kidney beans(raj ma), papaya, potatoes, tomatoes and cashew nuts etc to India which are native to the american continent.

    Spanish is one of the easiest languages to learn not because it is similar to Hindi but due to the fact that it is a highly phonetic language. This means that you pronounce the word exactly how it is written. So it is easier to learn for everyone irrespective of their mother tongue
