    The car is so cool, but maybe the coolest part is that the guys are so open about the setup and specs. There are a lot of people with a lot more boring cars who are super secretive about everything, especially in the top speed world.

    Wow, the years of experience just flowed so smoothly, they had a story for every reason they bettered the vehicle. Definitely one of the best Build Breakdowns/extras! I'd love to spend an afternoon watching them work, so in sync with one another.

    Yesss need more of the deep conversation about the cars, getting down into the nitty gritty info and the hows, whys, why nots, how comes. Its so fascinating to learn about all this stuff.

    if they are using the same alingment for road racing and straight line...they are leaving a lot on the table at both disciplines! For instance, an alignment for Daytona road course which is lots of high speed is way different than say Sebring, and thats just on 2 different road course! I'd love testing alingments for 270+!

    • @mrarivv0007
      @mrarivv0007 5 лет назад +2

      This is a legitimate question. Why would you need a specific alignment for a straight line, and what is usually done for it to be "better".

    • @knightbreed388
      @knightbreed388 5 лет назад

      @@mrarivv0007 more toe out will make your car unstable and twitchy at speed. more toe in will make the car more stable in a straight line, especially at high speed

    • @markewing3168
      @markewing3168 5 лет назад +1

      supersevenn trust me with driver preference and what event we are running the alignment is fine tuned for what ever ! Based on suspension geometry on this car. There is only so much you can adjust since it is not a single use purpose built race car
      I’d say weve been pretty successful

    OH MAN! I love your (non-existent) restrictions in the USA. In germany it would be impossible to drive it on the road -.- TÜV SAGT NEIN

    • @thomashalley7258
      @thomashalley7258 5 лет назад +4

      It depends on the state. Some are strict and some just need a headlight tail light and turn signals.

    • @1ce1987
      @1ce1987 5 лет назад +5

      @@thomashalley7258 yes I know, but from all all what I know, even the strictest laws in the USA are faaaar from the laws here. For example: You can put a testet and certified suspension like KW-V3 on your car, and some nice Wheels, even testet and certified. You have to check and register every thing at the TÜV. Actualyt you have to register nearly everything at the TÜV thats not stock. And even if its official registred and written into your papers, the Police can stop you an say that they doubt the registration and your car is immobilized. Instand. You have to walk home.
      Yes I know, the cars have to be safe, because on the autobahn we basically have no speedlimit (only at certain parts), but from my point of view they overact.
      In some cases you have to register your wipers...

      @thursdaybird 5 лет назад +3

      @@thomashalley7258 and to think, in Kansas you can tag a four wheeler for street use!
      Here in Oklahoma we don't even have safety Inspections anymore, much less something tougher such as an emissions test.

    • @markewing3168
      @markewing3168 5 лет назад +1

      We do several set up adjustments based on what we are doing
      But they are very similar based on driver preference and the geometry of the suspension
      Keep in mind this is not a Single use chassis so we are limited in what we can do
      But have had pretty good success I’d say

      @@markewing3168 I've read some history about Big Red Camaro just few weeks ago, it definitely is a successful car as it upset bunch of new cars.
      I've always thought alignment for road course, pikes peak, and straight line sprint are massively different... maybe I thought wrong.
