Very useful explanation of prefixes in Russian. I noticed that you used a new format instead of your handwritten whiteboard. Thanks for covering this very important topic of Russian prefixes.

    Please let me know.
I'm a complete beginer to russian language. I can understand about the alphabets, grammer, etc.
But how can I get to know about the meanings of all things, objects, animals, colours, numerals, places?
How can it be possible for me to know about the words? ?
Bcs. Every thing (most of) has different meanings. .
I think you get my point.
    Example; arboos means watermelon.
    Chai means tea.
    etc.
It will be very difficult for a foreigner like me to know about the words.please solve my problem.
Hope to hear from you soon.
    Thanks

Dear Yashmilan Kaur, thanks for your question. For sure I understand your concern. That's a common thing that all beginners face. You've started recently and words seem to look and sound very differently and unusual. What you can do is take several groups of words: food, numerals, colours, clothes and so on, make simple sentences with them like: Я люблю .... (put what you like) / Я не ем ... (put what you never eat) / Я ем на завтрак ... (put what you eat for breakfast). When you make 3-5 short sentences, learn them by heart as a story about yourself. It's important to make true phrases about yourself and your life as we memorize them better. Work out each group of words every week. If it's too hard to memorize 5 sentences, try 2 or 3, but always learn new words in small simple phrases, not words.
I hope you got my idea, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. You'll definitely succeed. All the best.

@@Alfia thanks for the quick reply dear. Yes that's a very good idea.
      1. But from where do I get these collection of words ?
      2. From where do I find a right person who find faults at me?
