I bought the 4/10 and the 28 bore Kofs sometime ago, and have had lots of pleasure from both. My son went and bought the 12 bore and 20 bore this weekend. So between us we have the set! The feel and shootability of the Kofs is lovely, and never feels like a cheap gun. My son and I did 50 ball trap with the Kofs 4/10 and my Caesar Guerini 4/10, one after the other with just the two of us on the lay out. Both guns got so hot, you could have fried eggs on the barrels, but both guns gave a good account of themselves and didn't break. It's also something I wouldn't want to repeat or recommend doing. Both Choked three quarters and full. Both 30 inch. Fiocchi Magnum 7.5s Scores. Me 32/50. Caesar Guerini. My Son 36/50. Kofs. 2nd place had to buy the Chinese takeaway.........
I love my 12 bore and 20 bore kofs sceptre sxe game shotguns cant fault them and they get used all the time alot of shots through my barrels still handle and shoot perfect comfortable fits me well looks good and reliable my go to guns i shot plently of the best most expensive guns and i pick my kofs anyday
I brought a yildiz in 28b on a bit of a I’ll try one at the price it’s been out on one game day and half a dozen pigeon days always puts a Smile on face 👍 great review
Good review. I have the kofs and for a £500 shotgun I have put people to shame at competitions with there £1000+ shotguns. Don't get me wrong they are beginner comps but just shows they are just as good. Never missed a beat and never had a problem.
The Kofs are imported into the U.S. by Savage and sold as the Stevens Model 555. Purchased one in 16 gauge last year and have put around 500 rounds through it at the trap range with no issues. Paid $525 for it. Great gun for the money. Shooting trap with it to break it in. I will use it for dove and crow hunting going forward.
Good job on comparison. I've been pleased with the value I've gotten out of my SPZ ME Steel frame. Reliable thus far and build quality seems good. Fully chromed barrels (black chrome exterior) should offer good long term weather resistance, too. That said, I recently lucked into a minty Weatherby Orion (made in Japan by SKB) at the same money, and wow, nice gun!
Thanks so much for reviews like this. I could never afford the guns I really want, so addressing the lower end of the over under market helps people like me in the decision making process. Whilst I have not seen a poor review of the Yildiz, I have not found a review comparing fit tolerances in regard to actual measurements, this may be going a bit too far for a $500.00 gun but after all it is about precision and the quality of materials.
Got the impression there was not much to choose between the two? Given the similar price point maybe a longer review looking at action fit and finish, what about chokes?
The Yildiz seems to have at least a hint of figure in the wood. It was certainly more attractive than the dead plain wood on the recently reviewed Beretta SP1 costing nearly 3 times as much.
Super great video sir!! You didn’t mention that both guns have aluminum alloy receivers. Not the greatest material for longevity over the years. Maybe if used hunting a few times a year, they are fine. Not highly recommended for sporting clays.
got me a yildiz 20g legacy hps. First shotgun so I have no idea ha! but so far I love it. @0g seems like a good fit for my hunting style but ammo so hard to get I am considering another gun in 12g. . .
KOFS is available in baby frame subgauges whereas 20 and 28 gauge Yildiz are on the same oversized receiver. Yildiz handles very heavy loads without doubling. And y'all get a better finished grade Yildiz with a longer warranty than we get in the states We do pay ~10% less for them, though.
Brought a scepter sxe 12 bore yesterday , out on the clays today and the front grip became loose ( bit of a wiggle but not hanging of ) not sure if manufacturing issue but wish I'd spent more for a more solid gun . shoots really well and nice weight. Just that 1 issue
I've seen a few Kofs advertised over here. They look nice but with second had silver pigeons hitting the market at 700 quid and life time service warranty I'd rather pay more.
Do you know anything about Huglu Johnny?. I have one which has colour hardened side plates in 28g lovely looking gun I always carry when on keepering duties
I have have had only a few dealings with huglu, all of which have unfortunately been negative. Would love to have a look at yours one day though, and see a good one
@@tgsoutdoors Thanks for your reply Johnny. I personally think its a better built gun than either the Yidiz or the Kofs, it has steel reciever and nice colour case hardening I dont think the model is for sale any more personally think it was under priced
@@tgsoutdoors that would be great as they doesn't seam to be any reviews, but they do look very nice, I'll be going to York guns to look at one when I'm closer to to getting my SGC. Look forward to the reviews. Cheers Andy
I'm in the US market looking for an Under and Over at around the price point of these and I definitely want ejectors not extractors. But I can't find these guns is there anything in the US market that way comparative maybe a different brand that I don't know about
Have a look at Tristar. They import Turkish shotguns of similar quality and price. Sold at Walmart and Sportsmans Warehouse. I own a couple and am pleased with them.

Doesn’t matter how good/expensive the shotgun is just matters how good the person shooting is.

How does the drop, cast, and height of comb compare between the two?

Yildiz spz and if I don't slope the grease on it won't open once it gets hot. Then i have to use two fringers to force the locking lever to open.
Please can you review the new ATA black sporter ? Comparison to earlier model
Have done the review, just in editing now.
The Gun Shop legends, thanks 👍🏻
I would prefer plain guns without the engraving at that end of the market.
YEP.
@@teamflanneloutdoors5631 Still do! 😀
Do you know if the Yildiz 28 bore is built on a true 28 bore action? (Maybe there's no such thing and manufacturers just use a 20 bore action??)

Really, yildiz all have scaled actions over here!?
@@tgsoutdoors They only send us the .410 on the baby frame. Makes the 28 rather pointless.
I was wandering if you could please do a review on the tristar tt 15 sport. Thank you I enjoyed your videos

Привет,,, скептр 12 сегодня переломилось после выстрела... У вас такое было??? Как решили проблему если было???

If only there were more silver pigeons at that money over here. Prices start at a grand now for anything modern.

What are your thoughts on Kofs vs Yildiz in 410?
Another find excellent video thanks
Hey Johnny, is it my imagination or do you say at 2:02 that the Yildiz barrells are lighter, then at 2:15 that the Kofs barrells are lighter?
Jonny, I'm looking at getting the young lads a smaller bore gun and it's a toss up between these two. Are chokes available to buy separately for each?
They are indeed. The Yildiz are a little More available though.
Bettinsoli X trail case hardened OR this Yildiz?
Hi have you ever had a catma 506 an, I'm in process of getting my SGC and are looking at first gun for Clay's. Do you have an opinion on them.
Afraid I have not had the privilege of looking over one. We may ask York Guns to send one down for review

Warranty is key.
Can`t understand why these guns have been compared to 686`s etc why have the Yildiz and AYA not be compared as they appear to be the closest match

@@Bubworks cz would be most comparable in the states. Made by huglu. Much of a muchness between the 3
Why do you keep saying yildiz have a 5 year warranty every gun site I've looked on says 12 month ?
Because they do, here in the U.K. at least
Dovete fare le traduzioni in italiano!!
As long as it goes bang I'm not fussed
Кофс скептр 12 открылось после выстрела,,, у кого нибудь такое было????????
