    As always, a great and informative video. No BS and straight to the point. Several months ago I was trying to decide what gun to buy as a total novice and the ATA was definitely on the list, I did however buy a second hand Miroku 7000 sporter and am extremely please with it.

    I bought my 12g ATA SP black back in December & so far am very happy with it. The advice everyone gave me was to buy a secondhand Browning or even Beretta for £800 (good luck with the latter) because they “hold their value”. That may be true but (hopefully) I’ll never be in a position where I need to sell it, and £200 in my pocket & a warranty was worth more to me. I’m definitely not the only one to think this way too. Also the ATA seemed to ‘fit’ me better, despite the obviously superior provenance of the second hand options.
    By the way, appreciate the videos, I learn something new with every one I watch.

    As an American, I am loving these videos that you guys are putting out. I'm seeing guns not normally found the the USA and am getting a different perspective on the guns that I can find here. I'm just having difficulty picking up on the accent at times though.

    Could you do more comparisons please? Price Range - This v That, Pros v Cons. I think it's more like a real scenario of people considering a purchase and answers many questions without trying to sell a model. Either way hats off to you, keep publishing the vids, they always have decent content, and I do like the say it how it is approach.

    I opted for the Kofs mainly because it was stocked in our local gun shop, whereas ATA and Yildiz are order only guns , I shot the Kofs in my first ever clay shoot competition yesterday I did OK for only being shooting for 4 months and the Kofs did was it was meant to do so I'm happy as with my choice.

    Guys, I'm going to guess that by Johnny not saying what he'd buy for 500-600 could be a hint at an upcoming video. 🤔
    I agree on the 28 gauge comment on the KOFS. I have a Cavalry Arms 410 that looks very similar and love it sans the very short LOP. Might be KOFS under another name.
    Hopefully the hair is not an indication of how your day is going. Everyone at works can tell how my day is going by the height of my hair.

    If you going to buy ATA, make sure you buy them from importers like sgc. ATA gives 3 years on some of there guns but dealers will give 1 year. Buy off importers get it delivered to local rfd

      @@MuhammedTartik Turkish shotguns in my experience dont give longevity. Issue's with triggers and light strikes and generally poor reliability after a couple of 1000 cartridges is usually the issue . The only exception to this in MY OWN EXPERIENCE is the newer escort semi automatics. I wouldent give a bucket of cold piss for a YILDITZ OR AN ATA .
      There not cheap for a reason . Other people may have only good things to say about them. Again this only my opinion. All the best.

    "ATA buyers think they have undercut Beretta" is the daftest comment I've heard you say. I think even you are turning into a badge snob. ATA may be modelled on a 686 (as they are related), but it certainly isn't trying to be one. ( My nissan juke is a car, but not as good as a ferrari.) It is a £600 gun that does what a gun is supposed to do. For the last 12 months and around 2500 carts my ATA bronze is doing the same as and better than some at my clay ground.

    So what would you recommend for between £5-800??

    • @Incountry
      @Incountry 2 года назад

      I know it’s 3yrs on, but have you noticed people give you advise on not to purchase but never what to purchase instead of..
      As you may well know, there isn’t anything used at $500~$800 range worth buying as they’re used, abused old discarded pieces of shit* that’s why people trade them in as in which no doubt will require a visit to the local gunsmiths for $300~$500 service & parts on so called premium branded Guns….
      Buy new, get a 2-5 yr warranty and after 5 years it’s still a reliable gun that you’ve gotten used to, it’s a lot of brand snobbery, if you don’t care about resale value but still get 50% if you sold it in 5 years, as $800 gun and $500 service you’ll still only get what you 50%-60% of original purchase price… (store trade in) maybe..
