    How far do you think will the Houston Rockets go this season?

    • @muratbilgehan5142
      @muratbilgehan5142 Год назад +2

      I think they will end up between 7 and 10. If they make it to the playoffs they wil lose in the first round but that would be just the beginning. In next years they can develop to a top 5 team in the west if nothing goes wrong

    • @ovikology

      Either low playoff seed or a playin seed. They might not do anything serious in the playoffs due to lack of experience but Houston is a very very dangerous team. If they keep going like this (there is absolutely no reason not to), they can upset any contender team like Denver, Lakers, Suns. You name it.
      I feel like build-up process is complete with Ime Udoka. Now they’ll perform.

    Ive been saying FVV was such an underrated signing. People trashed his signing over Harden because of his sub par 3pt percentage last season. But everyone seems to not understand why Houston wanted FVV over Harden. They wanted a true vet who is a leader both on and off the court. Signing Harden would be one of the worst mistakes because his selfish, heliocentric playstyle would stunt the growth of the entire roster, relegating everyone to spot up shooters. As a leader, Harden is one of the worst to set an example as a professional.

    • @codingstyle9480

      I could not agree with you more! Harden would destroy the Rockets' building process.

      The best part is that you know FVV will give his best no matter what. Harden could want his trade any time during a match. FVV’s synergy with Alperen is so good too. They complement each other.

    The Rockets are still struggling to get the offense running well. Jalen and Jabari in particular have been hot and cold on offense and other than Jeff Green there hasn't been anyone on the bench who has separated themselves as a reliable offensive option.
    The Defense though has not only been very good since the 3rd/4th game, it's been consistent. Even the 3 road games they recently lost their defense has been solid and always in the same way, limit points in the paint, limit fast break points, fight through screens and do the correct switches. They'll also do switches off ball so they aren't stuck in mismatches when they can which is something I don't see other teams do very often. For example you'll see FVV guarding a wing or a big off ball and one of the rockets wings will come over and swap with him before the other team can take advantage of it.

    Way too many people have been just giving udoka all the credit. Without acknowledging all the other stuff. And there is still a ton of developmental stuff. The players have been working on for years now. And it is still not really being acknowledged. Things like sengun's conditioning, and green's improved court reading. Things they had to grind out their ugly reps for their previous seasons. So they can look this good now. And should get even better later.

After all the stupidity and bashing he got from last year’s playoffs it humbled him and made him a better player, but to say that he’s a big reason why the Rockets are defending better? Just because the Grizzlies are struggling? Heck Steven Adams got injured and is not playing. He’s a big reason why JJJ is so effective last season and was instrumental in him winning DPOY. Brooks was a big negative on the Grizzlies, with his shot selection and his antics as well as the off court shiz that he brings up.
