watching this and thinking how well you both got on . how easy it was for you both to talk to each other. what a lovely man Duncan Jones is. And very talented. I bet his dad was very proud of him .
I love Rob, he is the sort of person who is just genuinely intrigued and interested in everything. He should have his own chat show. One where he is in a scrap yard dressed as a robot obviously.
This was a great interview. Mr. Jones in his own right is as awesome as his Dad. Thank you for posting this. I loved the story about being into sports, American football and his Dad taking movies, etc. etc., very real and very sweet.

What a great interview from Robert, Duncan is as lovely down to earth intelligent and as funny as his hugely missed dad. Lovely to see, his creativity is just as intense and professional and artistic. I for one, at this late stage are going to seek out Moon. I have heard some great things about it,

Oh, and driver: I loved Red Dwarf...and passenger: BlackStar, (& the graphic of planes flying around world on one day). Sounds Play Misty For Me.? Not meant to be. I'm a 48 year old, father of 3. And someone really sad at the passing of your dad, Duncan.
David has done a very good job as a father. Even if he wasn't there all the time when Duncan was a kid, he has teached him very well and helped Duncan to grown up to a nice, friendly, respectfully man. And YES, sometimes he reminds me a lot of David. But it is how it is, even Duncan will not be able to fill the gap left by David.

He is about the hippest young person there is. The idea that he gets along great with his rich dad but always seems so broke makes him over the top hip. He was so excited when Sony flew him first class.

I'm firmly of the belief of self contained stories. Moon being one of my all time favourites that deserves to stand along Bladerunner. That said. If Duncan can pull out an anthology series of sorts? Then yes. Give this man the greenlight. Moon was to someone who loves sci fi and thriller stories an absolute treat. (as a brit having Matt Berry and Benedict Wong was hysterical too. "we're sending people" ) yeah. Ok. Do a follow up. As a side. Ever seen Orville? Wouldn't it be great if they did a reverse space seed episode where he commandeers the ship pretending to be from the future to fix a mistake? But he's actually a eugenics failure from the past who blags his way. Played by Matt Berry? Doing a "cultural exchange" on the holodeck with the robot.. "it's called a pub space wikipedia. We use it to unwind. Oh do you have 50p? Its an old Earth token to say Im next on the pool table... You go get the drinks, I need a slash. "
Or the pilot is a Star Trek style beauty shot of the ship. Mcfarlane and Scott Grimes are leaning on a railing admiring the ship.

Moon is truly remarkable as is Source Code. I'm a little worried about Warcraft though as video game films usually are rubbish but Jones may just buck the trend and create a fantasy film that will blow us all away.
