The human players vs bots cooperative experience is something I still want to try. Do you regard it as a good balanced mode or not more than a teaching tool?

I never understood people's obsessions with scores on subjective values. I much prefer to hear what someone likes and doesn't like about something. I also DO like to know how much someone liked something (especially, once I know their taste), but I've always found scores to give a false sense of objectivity that causes more bickering than understanding. Why do you like scores? is it an expediency thing or do you get something from it that listening to the entire critique doesn't provide? (i'll admit, sometimes someone's review can sound more negative than they actually feel about a game, where a score could help..but I think in those cases they just need to fix the tone of their review)
@@ChrisCypher A score included along with comments that back up/explain/justify the score helps a viewer to put the comments in a larger context. It provides an easy reference point when looking beyond just this one review.
Glad i waited to see a review, just saw the errata and will be waiting for the 2nd E b4 i get Clockwork. I enjoy learning the new factions with new players and playing coop to introduce new players to the game.
Future prints of Clockwork will have the correct board. For those of us that backed the KS, we can submit answers to their survey and will get a sticker ship shipped to us. I believe it won't be until Steptember or so.
@WinterXL Its not the way, I am sorry I backed like 30 games now and received a better product (more conten, better quality, ect.) than in retail, thats the way of a good KS. Not playtesting the game properly only after production was done is not normal by any mean.
@@robertpapancsev8891 - This attitude makes no sense. People should not be punished for buying a product later, and obviously any product that has improvements made over time will be inferior earlier on.

I'm debating getting root now... Mostly playing solo and two player so I feel like this expansion could open up this great game for me.
I taught my children to play Root as a co-op versus the Better Bot Birds and Marquise. Awesome solo experience as well!

Thanks! You're explanation shed a different light on Root for me. Where before I didn't want any Bots at all, now I want to try them in small games.
