This show has hit on something special that everyone can appreciate and relate to. But it is the people doing the repairs that makes this show special to me. They aren't just repairing things but bringing back memories of loved ones past and childhood experiences. Just marvelous!
Love this show too and Steve & Susie just lovely genuine people Lovely thing to see how happy and grateful people are when they see whatever they have bought in, in the hopes that Steve & Susie and can perform a miracle and they do!
I love the repair shop..and you do need a story behind the object being repaired, it adds to it massively..The skill of the workforce is amazing and the show is just wonderful..❤
I was a horologest years ago, one of my best memories is repairing a coo-coo clock for my grandmother in which my deceased grandad had taken totaly apart, and was presented to me In an old shoe box there were many parts and pieces! My grandmother asked; could you fix this? I said sure grandma for you anything! Thankfully everything was there and i was able to return to her a perfectly working clock! Made my heart full!
Love to watch this show! Fascinating, educational and heartwarming all at the same time. Such amazing talented humble artisans, makes this show a real treat!
The most touching moment I remember from the programme with Suzie and Steve was when she repaired something which had the name of the woman's dead husband written underneath some fabric and when Suzie uncovered it she broke down. It turned out that the husband had died of cancer and Suzie's had died recently of it too. Steve wandered over and they hugged. The tears flowed, and not just from them.
These are my two favorites and I just love them all because they’re also wonderful there… I always thought Steve had the best smile and then then Susie came along to match him so talented both of them and Steve doesn’t just do clocks amazing! But the belt I’m gonna cry that Susie refurbished at the German guard made for the American soldier who was there to guard him was just too precious… and the brother and sister that brought it in to the thought to take it back to his family.
Susie starts to talk about the saddle she made, beautiful by the way, and that Alis9n woman interupts her and bangs on about Jay who is a waste of space and TV licensing money on the Repair Shop.
I used to love the Repair Shop when it was about the skills of the repairers and how they repaired the object. We should be lauding the skill set of the people doing the repairs. Now it's just about the story of the the object which completely misses the point of why the program was originally created and why it was so successful. For once I thought yes! finally the BBC care about people with skills and how the program can encourage youngsters to learn old and new skills. Alas now its just about how you make people cry which to me really dumbed down the progam. The popularity of the original format was what made the program so good but as with all moves from BBC2 to BBC1, idiot BBC money makers got involved and ruined it! I feel really sorry for the repair shop experts, they are expert craftsmen and craftswomen who's skills are amazing and the original programme format was about them. Now I watch Dom on his own channel because his channel is about the repairs, the tools and the skill set needed to do those repairs and you can learn and improve your own skills with him. If the BBC change the format to care more about the skills and knowledge of the repair experts, rather than the emotional blubbering, then I'd watch it again.
They wrecked Countryfile and now Repair Shop. I think it is ‘younger’ BBC programme makers coming in and totally missing the point of what life is about. Everything seems to be about fast and disposable ‘entertainment’. RUclips has become my go to these days. Arts and crafts by ordinary folks.
I have watched all the series,But now it’s more about seeing the recipient cry with emotion after the article is repaired, this is beginning to wear thin
Was once a brilliant programme. Now it’s all about the “story” and Jay , who does f… all. The fantastic skills of the craftsmen and women are almost irrelevant. Sadly, Unwatchable!
One of the best shows ever. The repair artists, the filming, the scenery, the stories about the pieces aka history and the people who own them
This show has hit on something special that everyone can appreciate and relate to. But it is the people doing the repairs that makes this show special to me. They aren't just repairing things but bringing back memories of loved ones past and childhood experiences. Just marvelous!
I’m in the US and this is one of my favorite shows! Iwe love it!
Love this show too and Steve & Susie just lovely genuine people
Lovely thing to see how happy and grateful people are when they see whatever they have bought in, in the hopes that Steve & Susie and can perform a miracle and they do!
A pleasure to watch 2 highly skilled individuals,(who just happen to be siblings) and really nice people too!
I love The Repair Shop! Amazing craftspeople. I swear they can build or repair anything!
My favourite programme ! You are all so amazingly talented and clever and such wonderful people . Thank you ❤

Nice story, shame you can’t spell the word cuckoo correctly 🙄
I got a clock because of this show and Steve! I love it and the chime
I adore this show and all of the wonderfully talented craftspeople on it as well. So nice to see Steve & Suzie on this show, too.
I love watching the repair shop I can watch it. Over and and over again
Love to watch this show! Fascinating, educational and heartwarming all at the same time. Such amazing talented humble artisans, makes this show a real treat!
The Repair Shop at Christmas is one of the best programmes on TV.
True craftsmanship

i remember that one 😢
Great programme, one of my best the bbc produce & so interesting seeing all these amazing skills the team have. Steve & Susie two of my favourites.😊
What lovely people 😊
Steve and suzie are my most favorites on the show

WHE LOVE YOU SO MUCH SUZIE &STEVE😀❤👍 BIG FAN OF BELGIUM.
Loved being introduced to this program on Netflix. Wish it could have been more than the couple of seasons offered!
Utube has more episodes.
Yep. RUclips. Watching Season 3 now

Perfect 👍
Like brother and sister duo
I love this show ❤
I love to watch the program. For me the best on tv. Nita
I love every bit of this show.
Jay is a furniture restorer with his own business!
Live in Kansas have watched every episode look forward to every new episode..great show!
I love the stories ❤️❤️❤️
Susie is a beautiful lady.
I've watched the Repair Shop for ages now. I never knew these two were siblings.
I almost pried open a valuable watch that isn’t working and was gonna spray lubricant. Oops. Thanks for the heads up Steve.
Is the Repair Shop still on the air?
Did she make the lovely red jacket?
I would also like to see their skill rather than the story about the object to be repaired.
Susie starts to talk about the saddle she made, beautiful by the way, and that Alis9n woman interupts her and bangs on about Jay who is a waste of space and TV licensing money on the Repair Shop.
Not a nice comment Alec, he's there and does what he has to Im sure
Don't be too judgemental ok
Who’s Alec?

I fully agree. The whole point used to be the repair (hint in the title) and now it’s contest as to the most sentimental story
Totally agree, too much sentimental backgrounds

@@keithdeley7236 I’m glad that made you happy. A real contribution to the argument
When did Steve Redgrave change his name?
Brother and sister, siblings sounds like somebody from another planet
Brother and sister. So, siblings then.
What? 🤦🏻♀️
I have watched all the series,But now it’s more about seeing the recipient cry with emotion after the article is repaired, this is beginning to wear thin
What does Jay do ??? Apart from turning up at the END TO TAKE THE CREDIT 😱
He is just a paint dauber, from the East End!
My thoughts exactly! Without wishing to show disrespect to the man, I believe he is the BBC’s token to diversity. BBC’s
Jay owns his own furniture repair business.
Jay is the anchorman of the Repair Shop series : what's the problem ?
Jay makes the tea in the show!
I record all the series and just fast forward the sentimental BS at the beginning of each repair job
They all seem to like Jay and I love the programme but he does appear to be no more than an errand boy.
I stopped watching (exuse the pun)when it moved away from the repair skills and turned it's trades people into agony aunts.
Love the show, but Jay Blades not so much. I'd dump him.
Was once a brilliant programme. Now it’s all about the “story” and Jay , who does f… all. The fantastic skills of the craftsmen and women are almost irrelevant. Sadly, Unwatchable!
I thought she was his mother, not sisiter. Jay "Bodger" Blades is the world's most irritating man.
The Repair Shop is now more of a crying fest and not so much about the repairs. That's the BBC for you.
I love watching the repair shop I can watch it. Over and and over again
