my top 3 wow moments as a hunter is 1. R14 on 2020 on the EU-PvP server at the time 2. Doin the epic Rhok'delar quest chain for the first time 3. Gettin Loque’nahak Nice vid as always. Helps me workin on my hunter
My favourite WoW memory is in TBC back in the day. We kited all of the elites in HFP to Honor Hold and ended up crashing Outland on Ravenholdt EU. Best of times.

My favorite memory is the first raid back in 2005 when I joined a guild and we did 40 man Molten Core. Looking at how the game is now, it's so much more polished but in general it's what started back then :)
I remember dropping the Blue Sinew for the hunter quest back in Vanila. Killing Azuregos was insanely hard back then on a PVP server and my guild had zero chances of doing it, so I farm in Wintersprings, it dropped on my birthday, good times.
Watched a few of your vids, quality stuff, finally subbed. Fave wow moment was topping dps meters on Sindragosa 25 man ICC hard mode as a survival hunter. Definitely drop an update video once the dark ranger fixes and updates come through. 5:21
Favorite moment. i attack a high lvl tauren war who was fighting a rare that he almost killed and he died instead. later on in that gaming sesh he found and chased me all over the map, he almost caught me so i jumped off a cliff and landed in a pool of water, he jumped right after me and hit a rock instead of water and died. i laughed hysterically and swam away.
One of my favorites wow memory is at the end of shadowlands they brought back teir sets. Playing an enchancement shaman they were top teir if you could get the right procs. We'll I got the right procs, spike in damage way over everyone esle only for the boss to turn and kill me because I pulled aggro 2 minutes into the fight lol

Great video and I like the update. I think I spent 3 hours on the hunter discord yesterday and yeah, dark ranger is very buggy. I ended up switching to bm pack leader and its damage has been ridiculous but I think there's a bug there too but it helped me kill ?? Zekvir!!
I haven't played hunter this expan. but wouldn't Volley+Salvo override the Explosive Shot you initiated before? Shouldn't there be time in-between to let the Explosive shot explode first?
Hey Steve! No, they both go off. The buff on the enemy will refresh, but you will indeed get two explosions. You can try it on a dummy in Dornagal if you don't believe me :) Welcome back to the hunting party my friend!
I highly doubt it. My guess is they'll fix it within a week or so. Maybe that's just the copium talking. There's a ton of classes with bugs.. ele shaman for example is bursting 25M+ dps on pulls in M+ this week lol.
That's huge! My actual biggest on a mob taking boosted damage (like the first boss in mists) is 42 Million. It was on Silken Court on the tall Nerubian. I love that trinket.
My DPS meter does show both damage done and DPS on the same line. But I'll look into better ways to show that information, thank you for the call out! I try to tailor my videos to better who that sort of information.
i was in a financial meeting at work and when i got the notification for this video going up, i told them we had to stop the meeting and pick up again next week as i had another "meeting" i need to get online for lol. thank you so much for this!! favorite WoW memory is of course Leroy Jenkins but more than that is when BC came out and people that worked for 6+ month to get gear and set pieces, that gear was replaced with greens in hellfire peninsula within 20 mins, lol
I dont understand these "buffs". Monday night i Sim'd my self and was doing 1.3m dps. Now after the rework im only doing 960k. I thought these changes were for the better?
so far i'm pretty disappointed.. it seems like i went from top 1/2 in details m3(that's where i'm at) to just above the tank, i.e. slot 3, regardless of builds. it seems the new animation for rapid fire is throwing something off too.
New wow player here and first time hunter. I was wondering why there isn't a rotation for dark ranger AOE? Is it just a lot better to play sentinel ? Awesome video btw, keep up the great work!
I didn't add one because it's so bugged and very noticeable in M+/AOE. Sometimes your Black Arrow just doesn't work, sometimes it pulls things in packs you're not attacking, Withering Fire isn't working as intended currently. I'll have a stand alone video for it as soon as they fix the bugs! I'm just as frustrated as anyone because DR is exactly what I want from my MM.
There isn't, just because it was completely broken. Some pulls were wildly over doing damage and some were wildly under performing due to the pugs. Because of that, I opted to not show it. As soon as the bugs are fixed, I will make a stand alone DR video that'll be abridged and shorter, with updated information.
It's not that it doesn't do damage, it's because our main abilities are currently bugged and just flat out not working. Which is SUPER FRUSTRATING. We'll see how quickly they fix them and I'll have a stand alone video for just DR M+.
@TaitanGG one of the main additions to the rework, withering fire, half the time doesn't shoot the extra Black Arrows like it's supposed to, when it does work it sometimes does double damage for no reason, it'll also pull and attack things you're not in combat with (happened in my recordings), Black Arrow will hit enemies that already have a dot on them instead of being a smart cast... and then other times it'll work just fine. It's very inconsistent currently.
@@MrEggplant Thanks for clarifying, man. Inconsistency is exactly the right word, and it's driving me crazy! Also, rapid fire feels weaker now for some reason
It's currently too bugged to get a good read on everything. Some pulls your Withering Fire just doesn't work, or will pull packs that you're not in combat with. Sometimes Black Arrow does double damage for no reason. Sometimes it only works if you use the ability instead of what Withering Fire is supposed to do. They should get it fixed soon and then I'll have a separate video just for DR M+.

To see results even better I would suggest to use DPS instead of damage done on your recount addon.

Right now it's 100% Sentinel. We'll see how that changes once the bugs are fixed and they'll most likely be some tuning as well.

I think we need to wait until bug fixes and additional tuning comes through but it seems currently Sentinel is still more damage in M+

I dont like that precise shots wont show a charge on arcane/multishot to show you have it up anymore
It shows the same screen icon. Maybe your UI bugged?

is sentinel still better on aoe or dark ranger ?
Sentinel is still better on AOE. I've been playing Dark Ranger on ST cleave fights though and doing pretty great damage with that.
Was so excited to play dark ranger aoe in mythic plus turns out it sucks and the entire rework is garbage unless your pvping what a massive let down.
Same, i tried some m+ Key . My hunt Is 610 ans dark ranger IS absolute garbage damage . Its such a waste. I just dont like sentinel

@TaitanGG one of the main additions to the rework, withering fire, half the time doesn't shoot the extra Black Arrows like it's supposed to, when it does work it sometimes does double damage for no reason, it'll also pull and attack things you're not in combat with (happened in my recordings), Black Arrow will hit enemies that already have a dot on them instead of being a smart cast... and then other times it'll work just fine. It's very inconsistent currently.
@@MrEggplant Thanks for clarifying, man. Inconsistency is exactly the right word, and it's driving me crazy! Also, rapid fire feels weaker now for some reason
Is AoE Dark Ranger just not viable?
It's currently too bugged to get a good read on everything. Some pulls your Withering Fire just doesn't work, or will pull packs that you're not in combat with. Sometimes Black Arrow does double damage for no reason. Sometimes it only works if you use the ability instead of what Withering Fire is supposed to do. They should get it fixed soon and then I'll have a separate video just for DR M+.
