Here is the link to the shaved ice machine i use amzn.to/45Nx7gy
I only endorse products i use. And that have passed my tests. I do make a very small amount of money if you purchase using my link.
I am starting a business like this myself and your video just saved me a couple mistakes I was making with purchases and I'm so thankful, thank you!!!
Thanks for watching! I also truly appreciate that you took the time to comment. I hope you can find some other videos on my channel that can help you!
thank you!
Good video. I have to agree that vendors don’t need as many flavors as they think they do. Like you said, a red, a blue and maybe pina colada for the adults will get you by. I love the business. Feels great to sell people a product that makes them happy.
And yes, I have friends in the business that have already blown right by 50k this year with a couple months still left in the season.
years ago we went with a bunch of flavors. It took me a bit to realize only really 2 are needed. A third is def nice. But we streamlined that portion of our concessions to 2 flavors and its done really well!
@@robpriv3014 ya i know quite a few past the 100k mark...heck theyt were prob past it a month or two ago
U r great man Myke.
Greetings and god bless u.
I appreciate you watching! Thanks for the kind words!
Thanks for the information dude! Just grabbed a used machine that works for dirt cheap. thinking about trying the buisness this spring and summer.
Glad you enjoyed it! I got other videos on shaved ice you might like
@@foodtofinancialfreedom8562 Thanks will check them out!
how's it going, 5 months later? I am thinking of doing this, but late to the summer!
Thank u for these videos
I’m so glad you like them! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. I really appreciate you!
how do you manage to keep the ice cold in an outdoor setting for so many hours? If I use an igloo it would most likely melt. Thanks again for the help!
What freezers do you use on an event
I like it.
Thank you!
Good evening! Very informative video I was wondering where you got the cover for the shaved ice machine. When looking on amazon it just offered the machine but it did not have the clear cover shown in the video that you make. I was wondering where I could purchase one of them. Thank you again and enjoy the rest of your day or night.
Thanks for watching and commenting! I bought this model years ago from the Vevor website. I’m not sure if it is currently designed this way any longer
@foodtofinancialfreedom8562
thanks for the info I believe I found one on their website that's the same model as yours. Also , how do you manage to keep the ice cold in an outdoor setting for so many hours? If I use an igloo it would most likely melt.
Hi, what size are the straws?
Easy side hustle
What are the name of the 2 flavor red and blue ?
Looks like big chunks of crushed ice, not shaved ice. Why not call it what it is?
You mean ice that’s shaved? Just reverse shaved ice? Lol goodness
IM SO GLAD I CAME ACROSS YOUR VIDEO I WANT TO OPEN MY OWN SNOW CONE BUSINESS I DONT KNOW WHERE TO START LIKE WHATS THE BEST SYRUP BRAND PLEASE HELP THANK YOU
I use Southern Snow. But honestly they are all about the same
@@foodtofinancialfreedom8562 OK THANK YOU
If I plan to sell from just a canopy would I just need to get a generator to hook up the shaved ice machine? Lol dumb question. The outdoor spaces to rent are $10 a day indoor is about $30 indoor comes with a small hook up.
Depends on the machine. Some machines can be run off battery power but a machine like that would need either a plug in from location or a generator. When you fill out form for location you can ask if they have plug ins.
Either a generator. Or a plug in at a location
The problem is you have to get an ice machine that costs money you have to pay for the electricity you have to pay for some place to sell this stuff at. You have to get a business license in a food in beverage license.
That exactly how it works. It’s not a problem lol. You have to have a machine to shave ice lol. You have to have permits. And yes you have to pay vendor fees . That’s how any business is.
That’s not a problem, do you do these things and start your business
@@foodtofinancialfreedom8562 Not to mention you need a commissary
im not tryna to be a downer but their is a BIG difference between shaved ice and snow cones
None. Just different names.
@@foodtofinancialfreedom8562 Shaved ice abosorbs the syrup and usually taste sweeter, and on top usually a "snow cap" is put on, also they have the consistancy of freshly fallen snow but snow cones are more corse and the ice is in bigger chenks , slso the syrup usually settles to the bottom. But good video none the less i got some good information out of it
@@afriend6286 ya, I would agree with the cut of the ice determining the difference. But here people call it snow cone, shaved ice and snowballs
@@foodtofinancialfreedom8562 alr i see what you mean good video tho
There is definitely a difference...
Do you recommend any certain syrup over another?
They are all about the same. I use southern snow. But I have never noticed any difference
@@foodtofinancialfreedom8562 Thank you for your quick response and honesty
so what about permits how much are they
I don’t know where you live. I have no clue. Call your local health department
? What brand machine is this and should add condensed milk for that extra kick
Milk in the summer heat is a terrible idea!
@@selliott1313 Why? Absolutely wrong.
Where can we find that snow cone machine?
Amazon I believe
Brand? Make and model?
@@vezinaben vevor ice shaver
What machine are you using in this video?
Vevor machine!
Where can we get that machine to buy?
I got mine from eBay
@@foodtofinancialfreedom8562 thanks for responding. Can you yell me what the name of that specific machine is?
Its called shave ice not shaved ice
lol..ok
Fancy pants rich magee 🖕spelling bee a**🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣
So the video says "Let me show you how to make $50-$100k" and all he did was make a cherry snowcone....click bait much??
I don’t think so. With the shaved ice business this is easily attainable. And the title is actually “ Shaved ice business! The most profitable business out there!” That’s not clickbait. That’s the truth. I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to comment
Read the title...it clearly says "make $50-$100k easy" but you didn't say anything in this video about how, that's click bait.
@@daviddelacruz4925 if you think it is . I am sorry you feel that way. Definitely not the intention. But yes, 50-100k a year is extremely achievable by selling shaved ice. In the manner I showed. And pricing structure. Thanks for commenting again! Much appreciated
@@foodtofinancialfreedom8562 I'm in the business, so I was just hoping that you would have said something more business related. You keep saying $50-$100k is possible. I know that it is, but how? Have you even done it?
@@daviddelacruz4925 most definitely! See if this video helps you out ruclips.net/video/NwzzI9BZ8U0/видео.html
I'm in Texas and ppl would cringe if i gave them that crunchy ice that machine makes
Thankfully that’s never happened to me. Years of shaving ice with these machines. Not 1 complaint ever. Not 1 out of the hundreds of thousands of shaved ice we have served from multiple locations
