@@estevez1942 What’s working for you man? Trust me I’ve been doing this for about a year now and the technicality in getting profits isn’t always solved by following these RUclips tutorials and strategies.
Honestly dude, I believe it all boils down to industry knowledge and experience. I have my trades handled using advanced trading platforms by Christine M. Mila, an FCA-certified pro trader, she guides me on how to enter good trades, and with her system and solid trading advice my win rate has increased significantly!
You covered everything. That is all that can be asked. We need to watch it 50 times. That'll do the trick. It will become second hand sooner or later. It's better you went through it like this. There are those speedy people who get it first time out. I'll be watching it again. Thankyou
I was really intimidated by options. I watched a bunch of videos and then gave it a shot. I bought nine contracts right out. Wow! What an experience. These videos are everything. I still haven't the faintest idea what I did but I did it and will buy more today. With penny stocks you don't have to get out of sorts. You just do it. Thanks Again!
This was so helpful! I learn something new about the Think or Swim platform. I usually use the active trader for futures because I couldn't understand how to link the options contracts the way you just showed me. Thank you so much!
At 9:58 , are you saying the buy-limit order and the stop-loss will adjust themselves according to the fill price or are you saying they will both execute by buying and selling simultaneously because the fill price was lower than both?
Ok. very good video! Thank you! My question is this. Why do the orders not show up on my stock chart when I place my trades? (the little bubble thingy) ls there a wau to get it to show? Also a video foe active trader on mobile would be helpful.
Great video but while you're in the trade, where on your screen are you viewing p/l? I no the monitor page shows that but switching screens defeats the purpose of speed in trading!
Clear and consistent! Was able to really get a very good understanding of how to use this tool in my trading. I’ve watch many videos on tos and active trader and yours has by far been thee most informative! Thanks
Hit the grid icon in the upper right, then checkmark "customize grid." You'll then get the little boxes in the cetner of each chart and you can uncheck the side bar tab. That'll get rid of all of them!
Love the video. I remember I was telling you about sending it to a different color. Didn't dawn on me to setup puts on another grid. That's a very good idea.
Hi, do you know how to set a market on close condition, something like no matter what is the price and i just want to close it before 10 minutes market close ?
yooo, appreciate the video. I was wondering if there was a way to add a watchlist to a cell on a single block in the grid? i watch several stocks and I choose contracts according to certain levels. seems like the only way is to detach the watchlist. which in TOS you already have to detach the options chain if you wish to keep an eye on that at same time. could just keep watchlist on the left, but alot of screen real estate to cover. Be great if we could add both to a cell
Hey SHort, very helpful tutorial! Thank you. Question, My TOS screen looks very different than yours and not all that conducive to trading options. By any chance have you made a shareable template for your workspace you could share?
It’s broken for options, hopefully they make a fix. I have a second monitor so it’s never a concern, but you could add the watchlist on the side for current positions and edit the columns to include trade price and qty to keep track of it
Thanks for the video. I notice that when stop orders are created by right clicking the instrument from the Monitor tab, they do not appear on the price ladder and cannot be easily adjusted by sliding the arrow on the chart. I thought that one important aspect of a stop price is that the market cannot "see" it. Are the stop orders created in Active Trader actually "Stop" orders, or are they actually limit orders that other traders can see on the ladder?
So if I hit the green buy market I'm in for 1 call option but if I hit the red sell market will that sell my a 1 call option or will that put my in a 1put option??
Great question! It would sell the call. If you wanted to buy a put to take advantage of a down move, you’d either need to put the put option in the active trader or have one set up for calls and the other for puts
