Good morning my friend. Just want to know that you, your family, and others affected through this storm, that I'm Praying for your safety. I know you do great in preparing yourselves with everything need for survival. Bless the ones who don't. Love, Debbie
I watch you every day and lots of times I watch ones that I’ve seen 2 & 3 times .
When you mention your thumbs , my goodness I have the same problem! I’ve always done work with my hands , I love to crochet but now it’s very limited . Just watching your videos makes me feel warm and cozy !! ❤
Starting watching you a week or so ago. Not sure how I found you but I am so thankful I did. You are just a wonderful person. Love all your videos. I watch you daily!!
Hello👋😊 I'm a newbie follower and love watching your cooking. Your such an amazing cook.😋😊 Yesterday I followed one of your bread recipes & bread rolls and my husband and I were thrilled with the results, amazing bread. The last time I baked anything was in school and that was a failure and never bothered again sadly. I'm 57 now and trying again and having fantastic results watching you and following your recipe step by step with success. Thank you so much for helping me feel proud and happy to achieve my beautiful bread. I have a long way to go yet but that's OK I'm enjoying learning from your good self.❤️
That is wonderful.
Hello from across the pond in Wisconsin! Thank you for sharing these recipes. I'm making the fry bread later today and putting apple pie filling on them after I coat them in cinnamon sugar for a nice treat on these cold winter day. Thanks again!!
My great grandmother taught my granny how to make fry bread . She would make it for supper then we would put honey on what was left as a dessert !!!! Momma never made them . The native was my dads side . I made them for my kids and now I make them for my grandkids. My oldest daughter watched me and now she can make them . Wrap them in foil to reheat in the oven . They won’t get hard . God bless !
Renea, you have such a natural, teaching way about you; and it is truly a gift to your viewers. Thank you for sharing your knowledge to us. 🤗❤️
I'm writing all your recipes down right now! I have two sourdough starters going that aren't ready yet, so thanks for sharing your wisdom and recipes for all these different breads and goodies! See ya next time!
Thankyou for the video. Two things that would of helped me is a close up of what a bloom looks like and a close up of the pigs in a blanket. They look like something my Grandkids would enjoy
Hello fellow Michigander! I have just found your channel today. I have learned so much from you just watching a couple videos. The last couple years I have taught myself so many money saving things when it comes to making food. With the recent sky rocketing prices and feeding two small children, my husband and I are learning we have to do it more and more. I always knew I loved baking as a teenager. But I use to be so intimidated by making bread. A couple years ago after my dad died (he loved making pizza and owned a pizzeria when I was little girl) I just kept trying and started to make my own pizza. I also love to make breadsticks and biscuits. I can't tell you how much money I have saved making my own pizza. I also had very lovely grandmothers that made many things homemade. I admired them both so much. There is so much more love put into it when you make it from the heart. Thank you so much for your channel and for sharing your knowledge with all of us. You make me think of my grandmothers. God bless you.
Mid-February and we get snow. My daughter is in Portland, Oregon and is glad she is a Michigan girl and know how to drive in snow. Love all of your videos.
I love carbs especially breads of all kinds. Renae you’ve go such talent. Your bread baking skills are top notch. Like you I don’t use a rolling pin either. I bought some breakfast sausage. Going to try making your sausage gravy. I have sourdough biscuits in my freezer that should work. I’ve never liked biscuits and gravy. But I’ve really never tried it. So at 74 think it’s time to give it a go. It’s just me now since my husband passed away last April. I’ll be able to freeze the sausage gravy so that’ll work out perfectly. 🥖🥖
So very sorry for your loss. 🙏🙏
Love this French bread recipe!! Thank you for your bread recipes and sharing how you use them in menus. I’m always so excited to see a new video! Stay warm!! You’re the best! ❤
Hi Renea here in Australia we call your cookies biscuits and your biscuits are scones and we usually eat our scones with jam and whipped cream on top . Thank you for your videos Renea I love watching you
Scones ( jam and cream ) a dietary staple here in Scotland haha xxJanieDundee
My mother made fry bread every Christmas morning. She sprinkled cinnamon sugar on them. Yum! She would buy pizza dough and use that. I make everything homemade but hers were still good!
I live in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and am so glad you brought up the issue of flour and different locations/weather/altitudes. Because we are so high above sea level here, we have to add a tablespoon of extra flour and sometimes extra baking soda/powder to most recipes so things will either rise or bake properly. Most States, Provinces, etc. will have information about baking available for whatever area you live in. These natural variances hugely affect baking and recipes, and adjustments are usually very simple.
You have such a lovely channel! 👍🏻💖
Thank you so much!
My aunt & I are the only 2 left in the family who make my grandma’s ham & bean soup(PA Dutch style) with fried dough. But, my fried dough is made with bread dough. I love elephant ears, reminds me of my childhood at the beach. Have been looking for a recipe since your last video! I’m making hot sausage sandwiches & these for supper-fair food!
Hi Renae, we live in Canada and call them beaver tails. My husband’s family called them dough gods.
I enjoy watching your channel and the look on your Husbands face when you have made bread is great. :) and you are both very happy which is wonderful.
I'm writing these down to make myself. Your videos make my day! I love you husband..he is so sweet!!!
Renae, incredible. You are an artist.
Can’t believe you posted this today. I’m making hot sausage sandwiches for supper, am sitting reading through my recipe box for the perfect sturdy roll to make. Then Renea comes on with the answer!! You must’ve known I needed this today😉Thank you.
Bread is so wonderful, in any way!! 🥰 My gramma made bread, dinner rolls, sweet rolls, etc. nearly every Sat morning, enough for the week. She got up before dawn to start so she could be done by noon. She made what was called "squaw bread" back then, probably the same as Indian fry bread. I remember her frying up giant platefuls to go with soups; my favorite way to eat it was with one of her several types of homemade jellies! My mom would make Navaho bread...a little sweeter than grammas fry bread, and we made Indian tacos with them. Those were the days. Thank u for the lovely video!
I grew up in Utah and we called these scones. I make mine using my dinner roll recipe. I take the dough in small amounts and stretch it out then fry it. They're great with peanut butter and jelly!
Hi Renea and John! Homemade biscuits are so good. Your right, twisting your biscuit cutter keeps the biscuits from rising high. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day!
She’s right bc you seal the sides off when you twist the cutter, so they don’t rise evenly.
Love watching your videos. You are a natural teacher
Good morning, friend! I love this recipe and I've made 4 loaves of your Amish White Bread this week. Best bread ever! Thank you, my friend. ❤️
Thank you for all you do! I enjoy watching you cook and love your recipes. Thank you!
I love the Elephant ears, used to get them at the fair with cinnamon and sugar on them. Talking about good eating. Delicious. Thank you for reminding me of this sweet little treat. I’m going to make some for my grandkids today. Thank you for sharing.
I bought those containers and love them. I get so much helpful info from you Renea! Thanks 😊 ❤
You are so welcome.
Thank you so much for sharing easy useful cheap meal and breads love ya work.
We are from Newfoundland, Canada, and the fried bread is a Newfie staple. We call it Toutons, and when we were little, my mom would make bread and save some to fry. We would eat it warm with butter and Molasses. I never buy bread always make ho.emade and once and awhile I make Toutons for my boys( husband included lol) my oldest is a Chef and this is one of his favorites, brings back childhood memories.
Hi Ms Renee, you are a master in the kitchen with your preparations of foods and cooking. I really do enjoy watching you cook.
Love that french baguette recipe!!! I use it for all my bread making and even pizza. Thank you so much.
Love your channel
I can not get enough of your cooking and knowledge in the kitchen. I am like you Renae, I love to bake bread and I have been at it for some time now 😖. I cant wait to try these recipes. I wish I could share some with you, just as you have with us. God bless
Bread is like candy. Weather/climate you’re in, what kind of heat you have(dry vs moist with a humidifier) really makes a difference. If you try to make divinity when it’s raining, you’ll burn your mixer up. When making bread, same recipe may take more flour or less flour depending on the weather. You’ll learn just by trial & error. Once you see how the dough is supposed to look & feel, you’ll be set for next time
Hi Renea!!! Will you show us the French Baggett s when you bake them. Everything looked delish. I always wanted to try fry bread. I need that pan you have for biscuits!!! Another wonderful video. Your such a good baker my friend...Great Video!!!...🦋
Hi Renea, First off I hope I can be just like you when I retire ❤
I the same as your children had a mother just like you , she would cook for her 4 children and grandchildren all the time!!! Lord knows how much we miss her. I love that your family really appreciates you too ❤
Well Saturday is my birthday and I finally found my gift and ordered it today !! I had to tell you I found me a glass chicken 🐓 I’m so excited to get it , I loved yours!!!
Keep on cooking lady we love you and thank Mr. Renea too he does a great job getting to test food for us 😜👍. Your friend down in Georgia 🍑
Happy Birthday to you !! I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy your glass rooster...
@@LittleVillageHomestead thank you !!
Thank you!!!! I love to bake bread, and I have made so many of your recipes, and they have turned out every time. You sure know what you are doing. I treasure your channel. Thank you and God bless
I made 2 batches of yeast rolls today. Half of the first batch for my oldest daughter if she wants it. The other half for me. The second batch is going into my freezer when it cools. My freezers are so full!
Grandma Sue in central Indiana
That is a good feeling when your freezers are loaded.
I’m so glad you showed the fry bread - last video I remember thinking my grands would love that ❤
Hi Renea!!! I love watching you make bread cuz it makes me get up and throw a loaf together while I watch. When I make biscuits I just cut my folded dough into squares so I don’t have to re roll or re shape dough. Fold it just like you and use my bench scraper to cut the squares and viola! Done!
Now that is BRILLIANT!!! All the baking I do and I never thought of doing that, Well I sure am gona do that from now on.. Thank you.
I did an experiment once trying a biscuit cutter versus cutting them in squares? I got more biscuits, better rise and flakier layers by cutting them in squares. And they are great to make breakfast sandwiches with. I am learning so much from you! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, wisdom and humor. I love knowing after a day taking care of my patients I can sit and decompress watching you, and all is right in my family’s world.
I am so glad you posted this!!! I have always wanted to make fry bread and now I can!! I do make your pullman bread now, giving up my old recipe! Yours is so good and doesn't take as many ingredients as mine! WHO KNEW?! I'll be trying your fry bread in the next day or two. I'm so excited!!! Thanks so much!
Oh my God Renee, you said fry bread and it is in the frying pan. Yesterday I made your dinner rolls with the vinegar, they were absolutely the best. Would have never thought of adding vinegar to bread dough, but man were they delish 😋. Thank you for sharing your awesome tips. THE BEST... .
Great breads, thank you. I love your videos!
Hi Renea, I made the Amish bread exactly like you said & it came out great! Really soft & perfect. Now I'm going to try the cinnamon rolls. Thanks!
In Canada, we call them Beaver Tails, fry bread. She thing though. My mom used to make them with bread dough, yummy stuff
I just love your bread recipes. You show that making bread does not have to be intimidating. Ty Renee. ❤❤
Have you ever made 7UP biscuits? They are to die for!!!
No But we can give it a go.
Those biscuits look so delicious. Your dough looks so fluffy and pillowy. I haven't perfected getting my dough to be like that. The biscuits still turn out delicious, just not quite as fluffy.
Love these recipes! I loved buttermilk biscuits!
Thank you for doing the elephant ears recipe. Blessings from the UK 👍🌟👍🌟👍🌟
EXCELLENT VIDEO
WOW!!!

Thank YOU so much for "Stopping" the video while the Mixer runs... NOISEY... very considerate of you.
Do you have a recipe for PIZZA Dough, or can we use your Bread Dough for that too?
Here in New Mexico (US) we love to eat the Fry Bread, well smaller dough called Sopapillas with Honey or Big like you made here in this GREAT Video... Stuff the Fry Bread with Meat, cheese, Hatch Green Chile, Beans, etc...
Thank you Renea for making this wonderful video...
(my first one to watch, but it will not be the last one)
That bread is beautiful!! I love buttermilk biscuits!!
In Italian fry bread is made with yeast, like a soft pizza dough. Same manner we fried the pieces, ,then cinnamon sugar yum sprinkled on top. I make them often. But I want to try these Renae. Thank you. You’re awesome❤
Good afternoon thank you friend for your time
Love watching your videos! Thank You!👍🏻♥️
I love going to Pow Wows and getting fry bread
Thanks so much for all you do! Blessings to you and yours! :-)
I have that same table from Amazon.
My instruction booklet on assembling the same size table as you have, said Not To Put Food Directly On That Table” You need a large baking mat for your table.
Everything looks wonderful. Thank you so much for showing how to make fry bread 😋
Great video. I'm going to try your buttermilk biscuits. I have an easy biscuit recipe that I got from a fb friend in Western NC. Only two ingredients. Flour and heavy whipping cream. They turn out light and fluffy. I use to buy the freezer bread dough from grocery store and let it rise then tear pieces off and fry them. My son loved them but I see your recipe is much, much better.
Good morning, friend 😃
Great breads. I have never had fry bread. I will have to make some.
Your the best Renea....
Love your show !
I would love to see photos of your market stand if not a video of one of your market mornings. You are always so busy making and baking. Also, please tell me about that cast iron biscuit pan.
All of it looks delicious.
Yummy, I can just smell 👃🏽 the fry bread cooking. Tysm for posting and HagD from Snowy Minnesota.
💜💐Love anything to do with dough. YUM! Your hair is so pretty. TFS! 💐💜
Indian tacos are popular in my town with the fry bread. All the taco stuffings on top of a piece of fry bread. Yummy!

I'm watching while I bake choc chip cookies for my kids.
Yummy!! Today it was rainy and very cold. I made some and we made personal pizza with them 😋
I make the elephant ears or Indian fry bread the way you do..lol..last year we were camping next to a Navajo family. Their mom and daughters taught us how they make them..same recipe. We had fish taco from the fish we caught .. so good. 😊 I'm going to try your baguette recipe for tomorrow's meatball sandwiches. 😍
I have been binging since finding you!
What do you fry the fried dough in?
Vegetable oil.
Thank you
LOL! He is so uncomfortable in front of the camera! Gotta hand it to him for manning up! 😊
Awesome 😊
Am re-watching this one and was just thinking you could add some rosemary or sage to make it a little flavor and rosemary flowers I think that would be good
Thank for sharing
Great video Renea! I wish you would show your mixer kneading the dough. I have a KitchenAid mixer that labors somewhat kneading 2 loaves of bread dough and would like to see how your mixer handles it compared to the KitchenAid.
I will!
They look great .
