Isn't your recording noisy straight from the phone? You could make a loop ie headphone out to line in (get the right cable) and disable the maschine live lonitoring (avoid feedback loops) this way you can resample everything that's playing on your computer. I know there are software solutions for this but the less drivers the better imo. Also this way you can still insert an external feedback processing unit between heaphone out and line in..
Do you mean sampling in general or the slicing mode? You can definitely sample using the Maschine Mikro MK3, however, it does not have as much integration with the software as the larger Maschine Mk3, meaning that you will need to make manual sample slices within the Maschine software as opposed to the hardware.
@@Noisegate what I'm saying is in the video when it got to the part about manually slicing the sample it showed a light on the pad flashing and as the sample plays u hit the pad and it creates the slice I'm asking does the mikro have the same function THANKS DUDE FOR RESPONDING

Absolutely. All the techniques demonstrated here are possible on the MK2 - however, there will be a few workflow differences due to the hardware differences between the Mk3 and the Mk2.
@CMI Music & Audio, this is the third video I've seen that shows us how to sample using an IPhone... I noticed that you all are using a rca aux cord. Do you come across the issue where the samples are over lapping each other and not cutting each other off? Sometimes I’ll want to hit the next pad but the previous sound keeps playing. It’s annoying. How do i fix that?
A good way of avoid this is, with the sample, set the polyphony of that sample to 1, before you slice it up so that only one sample will play at a time.
Awesome video. Helped me get my first sample on my mk3 but now it doesn’t record anything? I put my mk3 settings to the same as yours and nothing records. I see the levels moving as if it’s hearing the song but that’s as much as I get. Thanks in advance man

there is actually a more intuitive way if you ask me. Simply, make sure that your sample is set to a sampler and not as "Audio" in Plug-In(Instance), go to sampling, choose slice, and press the first pad and the second pad will start flashing, press it wherever you want to slice so on and so forth and then edit them one by one.
