Just wanted to give a shoutout to that camera guy... mostly traversing inclines, and rough terrain on foot to get good footage.
He must be part mountain goat. LOL
Sounds like something the camera guy would say 🤔
Wanna loose weight? Work for Matt as a cameraman
I wonder how many Go Pro batteries he carries too lol
Randy has fan club to how cool.
Can't be many companies that would take on such a recovery. You all are impressive!
No other recovery company in the entire state of Utah would be able to do what Matt and his team does. Anyone else would charge more than the vehicle they're recovering is worth.
What does that cost!!!!
From experience it’s pretty tough to find a recovery company that’ll do anything like Matt does. I got stuck memorial weekend above flat ant road in northern Utah and we had to hike 22 miles out and leave my truck for a day after we had helicopters and search and rescue teams looking for us because the wife was freakin out. We called every recovery company we could and after giving gps coordinates they all refused luckily we found one that would winch us out the 2 feet we needed to get off the diffs for 1600 dollars which was a great company and a cool guy but I won’t name them here out of respect for Matt but luckily we have state farm insurance and they have great off-road recovery coverage and we got reimbursed the full amount but it definitely had me regretting going north instead of going south to sand hollow Matt’s area like we were thinking about. Lol it was a good time the wife calls them bad choices I call them good times but I’ll remember to go south so that Matt can pull me out next time.
@@jessicacordova5024 Had no idea off-road recovery coverage was even a thing - I'll have to look into that now!
Ben Johnson lol me neither until I needed it. The recovery company we ended up using had us call our insurance and ask them if they’ll cover it. From what the recovery guy said he said state farm insurance is almost the only insurance that’ll cover it he said geico and progressive will occasionally cover it if it’s nothing too crazy. You do have to have full coverage to get it though and state farm you kinda have to talk them into full coverage if you’re in an older car or truck. They originally said that I can only get liability on my 1990 f250 because it wasn’t worth having full coverage on something that old but I had to tell them I’m not going through them if they won’t give me full coverage. The part of state farm that covered it was just the towing coverage.
Looking back at these older videos makes me appreciate how much everyone has learned and how it has driven so much innovation. Hats off to the MORR team!
Out of all the recoveries I've watched you do, this is the one that actually tired out my foot trying to give the jeep gas from my living room.
I didn't even realize I was doing it too until I read your comment.
🤣😁 agree
My whole leg tenses up.
And leaning to one side for momentum and rocking forward and tightening up!

Let's hear it for Randy!! That's some dandy camera work. The Human Drone. I get winded and sore just watching along.
No doubt. I wouldn't have been able to run up that hill
Great Job, as usual, Randy!! Oooo, Ooouch, watch the branches and rock edges when hanging out the window!

Shout out to the camera guy on this one. Running that trail to get those shots took commitment.
I'm finding it hard to understand why I find watching a truck moving six inches at a time so darn entertaining!
That 8 mile trip, probably showed about 80 miles on the odometer after all that wheel-spin. Your determination is commendable.
That's a great point: Wonder if Matt checked it???
Amazing the amount of abuse those trucks take. Cherokee is a stock auto transmission, I think.
Can't imagine how much gas he burned up spinning his wheels in 4lo in 1st gear.
Tire companies should give this man free tires for his extreme usage and testing.
I think milestar will sponsor him someday. But their tires are already really cheap compared to other M/T and competitors. 170$ for a 33” tire for my cherokee is pretty good
Cable Nowadays that’s not bad
@B.B. Was about to comment Yellow needs a new set of said rubber

Does he even carry a spare? I haven’t noticed one. Would think sidewall cuts would be pretty common on these rocky trails

Just have the Wildcat hooked up to the Toyota and drive it out under its own power.
The Jeep brought the trailer in, it can haul it out.
