ive never seen a rook and a bishop thats so useless in games like this.. even the queen had almost zero value after that capture on rook.. and that calculated checkmate is like a complete beatdown for black!!
I'm a new teacher and I've planned a football event for my students. We had 10 teams of children of various ages playing in it, we didn't prep anything in advance, the day of the event, about 15 minutes prior, 3 teachers including me gathered in the sports hall, we planned out the brackets and calculated the game lengths so that we would finish at the right time. Then the children came in, the ones who couldn't play were referees and were writing down the scores, and we went through the entire thing with zero issues. How do you fuck this up as a world championship with thousands of concurrent viewers lol the format was absolute ass. I bet some of my kids would do a better job doing it right in an improv. Like, did they really not imagine that there would be multiple people at the same score in the last round, making draws? 😂
