This increases your supply flow enormously, when your off-map artillery finally arrives, you have plenty of it, and you can build more mines too. Also machine gun bunkers - which you can build in excess of pop cap, those are basically unlimited, and cheap too - do a lot towards making sure that enemy infiltration teams don't appear in your rear, which always spreads out and weakens a defense.
Raptor u know you probably know already but in case you don't, if you build outposts on resource positions, you'll get 20% more. Also if you have trouble finding your troops if you click on the sheild it'll bring up what forces you have deployed. If you read this , reply I'd just like to know you got the info to make your experience more enjoyable

I would spread my defense along the foot of the hill, fill them with ATs and MG emplacements backing them are mortars few yards behind the main line. The hill itself is abit useless
