Texting definitely helped us so much also I got to talk to my daughter and tell her good night ever night and that was so great and Cindy definitely did not have to let that happen I was and am so grateful for her and the way she did for us we still love her and the whole family my daughter talks about bear still to this day
I was put in foster care at 4 months 💙 my mom was hit and killed by a car while carrying me across the street 🥲 my dad really didn’t want me. When I was 3 my foster parents adopted me 💙 they loved me like their very own and I was very fortunate to have them as my parents. They did become my guardian first. Thank you Cindy and Chris for the love you have for these children 💙🙏💙
I think this is my favorite episode so far!!! Y’all seem like y’all are getting used to it and getting out of ur shell and then to top it off the amazing news about the adoption!!! Love you guys. ❤ love love love this podcast!
Now Cindy you your going to get pregnant and have more to love! You are truly a blessing to all the lives you and Chris have touched. However never had to be a part of a foster situation, I am so thankful for people and families like yours! ❤️❤️❤️
This is such a great episode! My 2 boys are adopted and I make sure to talk about adoption and that when they’re older I hope they are able to meet their bio parents.
I will say as a follower I could definitely tell this case was different. I was hoping it was just cuz we only saw 30 seconds but I love how respectful cyndi is!!❤❤❤
You and your family are so amazing for what you do! I was adopted, my parents took me home from the hospital after I was born. I always knew I was adopted because they wanted me to know. They always told me my birth parents wanted me to have a good family and adoption is just a part of who I am. I’m so thankful for how my parents handled it because its not something that I’ve ever been ashamed of. They’ve always been open to my questions and feelings about it. I have an older brother, about 6 1/2 years older, that is my parents biological son. I’m so grateful for my family and I love them so much. I actually know my birth parents now. I met them when I was 19 and 22 and now I’m 32. I know little Fox is going to grow up so happy. Thank you for how you recognize the joy and the loss of adoption. Adoption is beautiful and hard. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
Yay! I loved listening to this episode. I love hearing Cindy’s tribute to fostering. ❤ I am getting my Masters in Social Work and hope that one day my husband and I can foster. Thank you for being an inspiration Cindy! Congratulations. That little boy is so lucky to have you ❤
I first found Cindy on Tiktok and didn't know who Paige was until the podcast really and oh my I relate to her 100% I became a bonus momma at 25 to 3 boys ages 5, 12 and 13.....now we just found out that we are going to have a new little one in 8 months so life is about to get crazy! The last 3 years have been crazy but I wouldnt change it for anything!
So happy for the RUclips version as well! I listened to all of the episodes on Spotify, and then was super excited that I can watch the videos. I am a very visual person!
I was wondering if they were nicknames and you answered my question. I love the names. You were meant to be a foster to adopt mom. The babies and their families are lucky to have you❤
As an adoptive mom- how can I go about continuing the conversation of adoption with my littles in an age appropriate way? They’ll be 2 in February. We adopted from birth through private kinship. bio parents are relatives of ours and didn’t want them going into the system so we were asked to adopt them before birth.
Just be yourself. Be open and honest with them. Maybe let them know they didn't grow in your tummy but someone else's tummy who his their tummy mommy or birth mommy. And for whatever reason, you got to be their mommy now. As they get older, they will ask more and more questions and you can answer according to their maturity. Give them more details as they mature. ❤
Cindy, you've said you will only take in kids younger than Bear in the past. Does this mean now that you'll only take kids younger than Fox?? Congrats!
When she says it’s been the most “quite case” she’s had…. Does that mean his family didn’t fight to get him back? 😢 so sad, but also such a selfless act.. maybe they figure he’d be better off… 😢
I absolutely love that you will be keeping Sugar baby “Fox”. Now I know why you could not answer the ultimate question. Will you be able to show Sugar baby after adoption? God bless your family!!❤
Omg 😂 I hope everyone knows she’s a hypocrite! That is so annoying! I hate when people stare at us in public because my daughter is in a wheelchair and medically complex. I’m like just say hi stop looking at us like we have something you can catch

I feel the same there are times that CYS takes kids for dumb reasons but then sometimes they take them for food reasons
