He got the safer version of lars uf3 his is only -13 Running 1+2 (+11 ob) launcher. Homing at tip range Df14 i13 ch wall splat if you're sharp to confirm it Df424 i14 ch wall splat for big damage can hit confirm His parry comes out fast so you can have lots of setup F2 best whiff punish in the game 22 annoying mid mid string with stupid range F42 -11 wall splat have similar animation to df42 (the first kick) so you can play some mid ganes with them (seriously why is f42 -11 and not -12) And his full crouch mixup is super good too fc df2 (from what i heard it's basically Dragunov d2) and fc df1 (safe fast mid wall splat)
only thing about lars' uf3 that I hate so much is that it recovers ducking in some frames, which punishes you if you don't know the perfect punish for that cheeky move
His FC df2 is different from Dragunov d2, except it needs Full crouch, it is much better than it. Real homing, +4 on hit(drag d2 is 0 on hit), high crush, can't be low parried as it is a sword cut. I wouldn't say it's super good compared to some other characters, but it is annoying to deal with
Congrats to PhiDX and CBM for making it to top 8. I do believe Noctis' biggest strength is how easy he is to play, which makes him quite consistent in tournaments. But really, it's on the player, and credits to them.
I said this before but people dont know shit about this game Noctis has good aproach tools from far out and also up close he is very good and also has a great parry and great c.h tools He got everything he needs to compete and is lowkey busted with tons of guaranteed follow up hits and oki plus lows that cant be parried In summary great at keep out, great at close range and great defense, evasive as well!
Any character is broken in the hands of a very competent player. However, the pros are the one who mostly decide which character is better than the others. Not to mention, people already hate Noctis back in season 1, so discrediting the community's knowledge on character's strength is pretty unfair. Remember, Panda won a tournament once.
If anyone's wondering how you beat a noctis player online, go up in his face and ss. It's not about noctis being bad up close it's about the people playing noctis🤣 They like to do the Giant Sword attacks and once you get up in their face they will do Ora or DB2 which are easily steppable. Also noctus isn't as OP up close as he is far away because of slow attacks and stuff so you really have to check him with mids and SSs.
F is called frames - means you will recover slower than the opponent -9 means you'll recover 9 frames slower than the opponent but if you're -10 your opponent can punish you with moves that have 10F startup + means you recover faster than the opponent and you're at an advantageous state
@@IchimanVRSNA5 Frames in Tekken is more of a suggestion than a rule. There's very few real pressure situations in this series where one side has to hold it.
Noctis for dummies: here's what you only need. -sword -more sword -big sword (ORA!) -spear (that break nico nico kneecaps) -f2 (cuz very cool) - HOLY SWORD SLASH (bit slow but hitting one feels great)
Claudio seems like the better character, nearly as easy to play but still seems like nobody in tournament except Shadow has placed high in NA with him, why?
His gameplay is pretty simple to use and play againist also. Every Noctis might have different playstyle but the chatacter itself will use the same things over and over again. You basically die for pressing and losing to timings ( getting CH launched ) . Facing a good Noctis can either be ezpz or a nightmare. He's honestly pretty good, always was. Just that there were better options
The only part I don't agree is the "good lows" part, his lows are really just average. db3 is pretty ok, db4 is really nothing good as you can see no pro players use this move, emoman is a worse version of demoman, but fc df2 is indeed really good. d2 is -15 on block, and the follow up is a high, it's just kinda risky and not so rewarding. His lows are either hard to reach, or give turn away/get punished hard for little reward, except for fc df2
his lows are good especially in tournaments..cuz you often see noctis players use d2 as a round ender that's cuz it can't be low parried and has an high extension to discourage punish attempts and also his clean hit low does a lot of damage.. his lows are not that good but above average of course
@@crack4184 PRO players was saying this character was not that good. Pre-Nerf Akuma had pro players rolling their eyes saying he wasn't that good. Akuma pre nerf was losing to Dragunov in Season 1. Thanks for 3 min guide how to play Cloud
glad you liked it ^^
hehe
Man..I’m really gonna miss this guy Fr.
He was low key has the best mixups in the game.
People were sleeping on this character for way too long. He has been my main, before I got addicted to Paul, thanks to mwkan sahab
The reason why i don't use this character is because he is just a guest character so I don't think it's worth to learn him
Maybe you should try Noctis on rank
He has like 5 moves lmao
You won't waste much time learning him
If Noctis players had a brain, they would win majors already
haha
Its still so weird for me to think of noctis being strong, i feel like hes been kept completely under the radar forever lmao
8 months ago many people used to consider him weak
yeah even pro players lol
Congrats to PhiDX and CBM for making it to top 8.

Just a bit of a range problem when up close especially his df1 but df4 and 22 does cover the range problem of df1
he's really strong

The running attack is also insane

start making noctis videos too
Can someone explain these + - f? Ive never understood the mechanics. I only play casually with my friends. Never online or competitive
f is for frames
- means you are at frame disadvantage over your opponent after a move
+ means you have the advantage, if a move is + on block or on hit, it means it’s still your turn and you can still pressure
@@IchimanVRSNA5 Shit. I edited my comment and didn't see that I deleted the + frame part.
Thanks buddy
