Sorry Jill, I don't recall I'm afraid. I think it was a rambler of some sort. Maybe a trip to David Austin roses at the end of June might be something you could consider to find out? I can assure you it's well worth it!

есть, но они какие-то парадные. и очень мало роз и сортов показано. чувствуется, что люди или не в теме совсем" ах как красиво " или показывают, что продают сами, да и тоже не всегда в теме .)) в основном все ролики о парках роз похожи. и этот далеко не самый худший. виден сам сад и розы со всеми минусами и плюсами просматриваются.

The advice is not to trim them back by more than a third so you don’t get long whippy growth. The more mature the stems, the stiffer they are and are therefore more able to support the bigger blooms. Of course, if you want a climber then having drooping blooms is a bonus!
