Another main thing to keep in mind with sizing plates/carriers is you fit the plate to your body (using the placement described here, clavicular notch to above belly button, nipple to nipple) and then you size the plate bag to the armor. Also potentially need to consider the cut of the armor for some carriers (SAPI, shooter's/swimmer's cut). The Thorax accommodates SAPI profile, which should fit lower cut plates as well. Great looking product and info to go along with it.
@@Cynthia_Blackraven_666 The Ice plate carrier is cool, but I don't think people realize how cheaply that thing is made, not in terms of quality, but in terms of ease of manufacturing. It is way overpriced as it definitely costs less to make than a condor plate carrier. Haleys setup is well under that.
@@ripley4601 HRT Rac is meh at best, LBX Arm 2 is a MEPC with weird and akward foam (i hate it when sweating), Scarab LT i solid, and the crye AVS is amazing and prob the best load bearing PC on the market but just have to deal with CRYE wait times or paying for the convenience fee of dealing with a re-seller.
@@Extremekhan24 The RAC is widely considered one of the best PC's on the market. I don't know if I believe you have enough experience to make such judgements on every PC I mentioned. Maybe you have tried them out, and have an initial impression of them, but it's difficult for me to believe that you just happen to have a lot of time with fout very specific PC's I listed. There are budget AVS clones that are close in quality to the Crye version, but less expensive and actually in stock.
Will you be adding more spec information to the website? Currently it's difficult to gauge best sizing apart from the sizing chart on the instruction manual, especially for those with borderline measurements. Like you mentioned you're on the upper range and you said it depends on what you want out of it (i.e. what kind of accessories you plan on attaching, snug vs looser preference). If your measurement is 41/42 is a Medium still versatile enough to accommodate varying fits? Or should you opt for a Large and will that still be snug enough if your preferences change?
need to know. your website and videos don't really give a dimensions for what plates the carriers can accept for example i got the medium thorax plate carrier looking into getting plates now. need to know if the carrier can accept plates with the dimensions of (length of 12.25) (width of 9.25) it only mentions the thickness on the website that i seen. please answer asap thanks!
Our plate bags are designed around SAPI plate dimensions. Our large bag fits Large SAPI sized plates like a glove. A large SAPI plate is 10.25"x 13.25". Hesco large 210's are 10"x12".

Nah. The HRT RAC, LBX Armatus 2, Velocity Systems Scarab LT, Agile K19, and Crye AVS are leagues above everything else.

That's currently our most requested sizes but we may expand in the near future
So will this work for a 11x14 plate?
The medium DNFDR plate is 9.5"x12.5" and the large plate is 10.25"x13.25" which fits like a glove inside our plate bags.
