    I've owned and used numerous 5.11 bags and packs. My current edc is the moab 6 with hydrationpouch and 6x3 med pouch. Prior to that it was the rush 12 with hydration pouch, 6x6 med and 6x3 med. I also used the moab 10 slinger and all hazards nitro. Nitro and slinger were both sold off as i was never completely satisfied with them. Used each for about a year. Kept the rush 12. I've been very happy with that pack and it's my go to when traveling. I can live out of it easily for three days as I've done it numerous times.

    Not going to lie, this is one of the better bug-out summary videos out there. Sometimes, the narrator takes themselves/the video too seriously, and it can be very off-putting. The small jokes and clips of humorous content in this video helped it become much more digestible.

      @@A1i3N337 you didn't say stress = bad. You said "living in fear shortens your life."
      My family's cultural heritage is relative, because my Irish ancestors were scared of starving in Ireland so they moved to America. They ended up living a lot longer than if they hadn't been scared.
      The other half of my family heritage is Native American, and I guess if you've never read history you might not know why they learned quickly to appreciate an appropriate response to logic-based fears. Certain tribes survived by being aware and acting accordingly, while other tribes were wiped out because they did not possess that same "fear."
      So yes, stress is bad, but living in fear does not shorten your life. It quite often extends your lifespan.

    Learn the secrets of ultralight backpacking. Create a base pack that mirrors an ULTRALIGHT BACKPACKING set-up for your region. keep a rack in the house that has kit supplementation. You need three things in a first aid kit: Israeli bandage, celox packets and band aids. Other then that, your mess-- that's it. A Mossberg just in case is a great choice, should the need arise to load out with a weapon. You should have a negative 15 sleeping bag on your load out rack. Ultralight backpacking knowledge is the key. learn the hobby and partake in it. The best edge you can have is the knowledge that comes with that hobby. From footwear to shelter, from pack stuffing to kit, from meals to clothing to hygiene -- it's all covered.

    Considering how much stuff people bring to the beach when with the family.. One bugout bag won't be enough with two kids, wife and pets. I'd call it a bugout Trunk. Great video though. I'd like to see a bugout video including the family.. It's a lot harder than just grabbing a bag and leave. Every father that has tried to get their kids to anywhere, knows this.

    Read this guy's book, 100 Deadly Skills, and never have I laughed so hard at the contents of what is technically a 'self help' book... So much of it is completely and utterly irrelevant to a non-combatant citizen, even in a crisis zone, but worse still, many of the techniques and technologies in the book haven't even been relevant to 'violent nomads' for at least 2-3 decades, let alone your average Joe... It seems to be a summary of how one might 'fantastically' and 'bombastically' go about escaping capture or follow someone if trying to replicate an Ian Fleming novel. Anyone who bought the book hoping to learn something about how to get out of a very tricky situation in an unsafe country or city will be highly disappointed at the suggestions made in the book...

      Truth is if you're bugging out because off a natural disaster you're not packing days worth off food & water and survival equipment because majority off the time you're going to a hotel or a friends house outside off the disaster area so you're better off taking cloths for multiple days, cash, ID and just basic day-to-day items. Yes, it's a good idea to have basic tools and a small amount off food & water and basic shelter in case you get stuck whilst in transit but the idea that you're going to be hiking through the wood with a rifle and doing bush craft is not realistic for most people today, most people would rather shelter in their vehicle than abandon it and use a tent in the woods.

    • @TheMegaAsh
      @TheMegaAsh Год назад

      @Execprotect yep, why abandon your primary means off transportation when you have bags to carry unless you absolutely have too.....so what you have to sit in traffic for an extra few hours, it’s better than hiking with weight. I’d rather take shelter in my vehicle than a tent as it offers greater protection from falling objects & weather and let’s not forget about those people that want what you have, you can lock yourself in you vehicle but you can’t lock yourself in a tent.
