The commitment required to achieve the status of a SEAL is insane. On top of that, the mental toughness along with the physical stamina these special people process makes them unstoppable. My old boss use to tell all of us, if we run into a SEAL, try to get the contact information because the company’s policy was hire any and all SEALs, because they don’t understand the words can’t or failure .

The Seals deserve all the respect in the world & that's why I always appreciate anyone exposing the frauds whom say they were Seals ; yet do not have any idea of the sacrifice they endure. The sacrifice is great & I would say that it mostly is the missing of the ones whom gave all when all Hell Breaks Loose ! I never was in combat or did the superhero stuff like they did , however I saw one of the those whom gave all . They are always missed & the people whom are Real Navy , always remember those whom gave all. My ship had Seals aboard & I will tell you a big Secret if you promise Not To Tell ...... Nothing was said more true than this. I am one of these older people that went thru life with no real purpose but being a company man for a company that doesn’t really even care for me nor I it. I did only find things to satisfy myself in the short term because that’s all I ever looked for and now body beaten down with grave mental dysfunction here I sit still waiting and hoping filled with regret for a wasted life. It’s not self pity it’s just a fair warning that you won’t hear from people that have lived it, only hear it from people that haven’t. I know what I did and there’s no one to blame for it. My LST-1195 had a few aboard & they were always busy & looked strained & exhausted . I still thought they were supermen & I still do. They trained with The Master of Masters & somehow survived ; that was quite impressive since The Master equals at least a Battalion , all by himself .......... Also, there's no way a whole group of SEALs, Green Berets, Rangers, Raiders, AF Commandos, etc much less one could take on a whole battalion of Army or Marine Infantry warriors so stop sucking them off guy!

In 878 King Arthur was being attacked by the vikings. He only had a handful of men and fought with everything they had. However it ended up with the vikings on one side of the river and the king and his men on the other. There was a bridge but of course the vikings could have cut them down as they were trying to cross. Along come Welsh men who couldn’t speak English but were fighting with the king. They waited until nightfall and then they went under the water and walked under the water/river until they got to the other side where the vikings had no idea they were coming and were easily taken down
This same tactic is still taught to the SAS and the Navy Seals. Makes me proud to be Welsh lol

Panic kills, I was jumping a Para commander with a switlik belly reserve. I had gotten a new shot and a half release and practiced many many hours in front of a mirror, I could do the practice release in my sleep. One day I am jumping with the German team, I come through 2 grand and pull my ripcord nothing happens. My heart goes to 150 beats a minute instantly I am in pure panic. My parachute pops full of air and flips me head over heels I look up to see a perfect parachute. It is called a snivel when your chute comes out but flaps in the airstream a second before opening. I never knew if I would have come out of a malfunction by doing the right thing or if I would have pummeled to my death.

That was very interesting. I'm happy to hear from a person that speaks so maturely and with calmness about his experiences in Special Forces. I feel that I can sleep better at night knowing this kind of man has my back. Thank you for your service Sir.

    B 111s? How about F 111s?
I would know, I was flying F 111Es out of RAF Upper Heyford at the time, The F' 111Fs that flew that mission were from our sister base, RAF Lakenheath. I'm know they'd want to be properly identified as 'fighter pilots' flying F 111s rather than 'bomber pilots' flying B 1s or "B" anything. I could say A LOT MORE about this, but maybe that's for another time. For now I'll spare those not interested in more detail about the bombing mission to Libya ('El Dorado Canyon") or flying fighters in general. Get back at me if you have questions/ would like to know more.
