- By now you all have probably heard about the @MattsOffRoadRecovery Offroad Games that will also have wrecker and recovery fun at the beach. I was asked if I'm still going to the event but I have 3 major problems with the venue this year. I do look forward to seeing you all there on March 14-16, 2024 and hope that you'll stop by and say hi. This video was made for entertainment purposes only and please do not attempt to recreate or reenact any of my stupidity in this video. As my slogan goes, there's the right way, there's the wrong way and the way I do it. I appreciate your support!

Watching the buggy ghost ride like that, kind of makes me want to see it set up like a full size RC car. You could compete with Rory and crew and Paul's family with their RC buggies, bring a new meaning to crushing the competition.

I would love to see you spot someone up the trail, but if that opportunity doesn't happen then you MCing the event is next best thing. I think you will do great at it. as for videos, have a "temporary" camera person get some stuff for you. Matt should have someone he can lend you. 👍
I think you should ghost ride that rig through the entire trail, you'd definitely be the fan favorite of the event!

A couple tips for emcee content: get as much build info, stats and bio as you can from both spotter and driver. This gives you a lot of content to rely on and you won't find that you're repeating yourself too much. The other tip is to get another person (or people) to help carry the load. Even if the other person is off mic and serving you note cards or keeping you organized will be a big help. You'll do great and remember, RUclips loves ya!

I just recently started watching videos more often. All of yours and those with you in them have been great. I'm looking forward to seeing your builds of all sorts. I enjoy seeing everything from bikes to off-road to street rods and trucks. I have a few toys, but I can't afford to build them like I want to. Lol.
As for the MC gig, you'll be great. You speak well and are understandable. That makes listening better for everyone. Have fun with the new experience!

Colt you should hook up with RCTestflight or Peter Sripol and RC convert the buggy - that way you can spot an empty vehicle, it would be an absolute riot
Ask a friend to film you being an MC. Then you have a video to put up. Or just use a tripod. You'll do great. And if you mess up make a blooper video. That will keep your videos coming with plenty of entertainment. And the ghost ride is the ultimate flex. That buggy is great!

Colt, I met you in person and you can talk to anyone. The MC thing will be easy for you. Get a head band mount for your camera and film away while you MC. Sounds like a winner to me.

I did a "ghost" drive at a car show once, but it was all flat. Back then, I was in, got out, walked the tire, then let it go. I was accused of it being remote controlled LOL But what you did today with your rig, was nothing short of impressive!

Rory occasionally shows vids with him "spotting" Lily with R/C Rock Crawlers. If you get the steering fixed, you could "spot" her on the controls of that as a team! Maybe not for the whole trail, but different parts for the kids to watch.

Was kinda expecting, you know, an explanation? I dont know youre channel, so not explaining anything is pretty silly if you want new viewers. Obviously youve RC'd your buggy somehow, and someone else was driving it while you were spotting? EXPLAIN!

Looked over a few of the comments and totally agree with all the positive feedback. You are very entertaining and you do an awesome job with your how-to's with excellect narratives on what your doing and why. Unfortunantly I can not make the Off Road Games, and will most likely have to go back and watch the live streams since I am starting a new job as a Truck Driver and will be most likely out on the road driving during the broadcast.☹ As for the MC position, just be yourself! You already have over 22k subscribers and as I am typing just continually see the number of views scrolling higher and higher. Colt, I bought a "SNAP Mounts -Magnetic Action Camera Chest Mount" a couple years ago. It's an amazingly versatile camera mount for $40. It snaps magnetically on your shirt while also hanging from a lanyard. I've also mounted it on the bill of a cap or on the body of a Land Cruiser. With it you could get a lot of GoPro footage of the Games.

Ok 2 problems solved. Problem 1: Matt from Bleepin Jeep should be there. I "Hope" you both bring your wives. You have the lunch lady be your driver, she has a great smile and is funny as He**. Since she has driven off road a little, she would be blindfolded just to make it fair, and your wife as the passenger to be the eyes. Problem 2: We make it a game. Every time you say "auh " the at home viewing audience takes a drink of something, and every time you say" duh" we cook up a pork chop in the name of Homer Simpson. It'll be fine don't worry.

What do you mean when you say that you are NOT entertaining? I was just fully entertained for 10 minutes! And, from the looks of it, you really don't need a driver, you can just spot from outside, but near the steering wheel. You'll be fine!
