Didi what a great coincidence, my mom few weeks back told me your success story of getting absorbed into ISRO through GATE exam and I was really inspired and then I decided that I will also be a scientist at isro, and started preparing for IIST , BTw i am also from uttrakhand. I am a dropper and I want to get into ISRO in some years & today morning only I was explaining my mother about the entrance exam for ISRO... Being a dropper it really gets tough to stick to your decision & this one video was the sign from the universe for me to keep working till ISRO interview date comes to me 🤞🏼

To join ISRO you dont need to study you UG in IISc..after your graduation from any BTech college you can apply for ISRO scientist role.. you need to clear the exam and then the interview

Hey hi, I have shared here.. why I have not joined isro.. I am not very much aware of the kind of project you will get at ISRO.. as a computer scientist.. you can ask someone working currently at ISRO..

In which year you started the preparation of GATE CSE? Which year should you think a student has to start prep. of gate cse to get into IISC in 3rd year itself?
I mean one year is enough if you prepare smartly. Also now a days students also want to crack gate in 3rd year itself

Hey hi, actually the oldest batch in mathematics and computing in iisc is in 2nd year. So we dont know if ISRO come for ditect placement.. you can give ISRo exam though after your bachelors.

No, maths is necessary. You can have biology with PCM but without maths you can't get into IISc even for biology courses

Hello! you answered lots of questions regarding MTech CSE. But how is environment in cse? I mean there are any tech nerds or folks is focused on only academic. Will we meet brilliant minds who wants to build business/developing great stuff on their own/hackathon ? regarding cse branch only. please answer my question
In IISc no… you wont find the kind of environment you will get in IITs.. for hacakthon or entrepreneurship.. because in IISc the undergraduates are very less.. most of the students there are post graduates

Hey I think you are eligible as it is BE/ BTech equivalent.. but you can once go through there site carefully and you can also confirm my contacting them.. that will give you good assurance

Qualification with required GATE paper (in brackets): B.E. / B. Tech. or equivalent degree (with a GATE Paper in AE; CE; CH; EC; EE; ME, XE).
Selection Process: Selection is based on 100% GATE score
Areas of study: Structures; Aerodynamics; Propulsion; Control and Guidance of Aircraft; Rockets and Spacecraft.

Sadly for me from my childhood it’s always been money… and I believe this depends on our surrounding.. for children who are surrounded by money, for them if they are studying then the only driving factor is learning.. why else they would want to study or practice anything? There are 100s other career options they can pursue..

Mam I've a doubt. I'm an ec second year student. If I'll be able to crack both gate and icrb exams. Will I be able to join isro after completing my mtech from iisc ? Will they accept me... Or should I first do my mtech course and then write the icrb xam? Is there any other xams for mtech graduates to join isro other than icrb. Mam could you please give me a detailed response to all my confusing questions 🙂
I mean if you get a chance to apply for the recruitment just at the end of your masters like it happened for me..then you can directly go from there. otherwise.. your GATE score is valid for 3 years right.. so if recruitment come in between you should be able to do it after masters

u got selected for scientist c position bcoz of master degree or btech students are also eligible??
I got it based on my gate score and only eligibility criteria was BTech. My MTech would have been considered during promotions. MTech people get promoted to scientist D in 2 years. Otherwise it takes 4 years.
