Yes people work damn harder in ISRO compared to other sectors. For example if we have some testing which lasts for 24hrs we should be present there for 24 hours of testing and collect the datas. And work even in weekends as well. But it is worth it

No no they used to release for every discipline but not at the same time. Whenever they will have requirement for ece they will recruit them. So keep following

Once you join, you will be given a division and a team based on ur skill or degree. Then it's hands-on. No training as such. You will start working with your seniors and will be expert in your field or task

Crack JEE with a good score, complete Btech in CS/IT/ECE/ME/EE from a good college..then you can appear for the selection process. (Written Test and Interview)
I would say crack JEE and directly join IIST which directly recruits their BTech/Dual Degree students to ISRO directly (provided CGPA>7). You can say that IIST is ISRO's own university and most of the ISRO scientists are from IIST.
What i have heard from.my cousin who is in.isro that many times u have to work in.weekends and he works till 8 to 9 pm. So workload maybe more than some private sector.

I have seen people with colour blind issue being appointed in section where they can work. That sort of flexibility isro provides. So I feel it's ok , you can think of joining

Basically you need to do a mutual transfer and this is what you need to do in summary - Find a person from your target center who is willing to join your center, then go with all level of administration of your office to get all the approval. Same with the other person. This takes at least 2 years if you are very lucky

In ISRO, its never too chill like other so called "Govt Job" nor too much pressure like Private jobs. Its in between. Offcourse before launch if you part of a team who takes care of launch then you might need to do extra work. But you will get additional leave for it.

Hello Madam, Frankly, it not so easy to switch, once you worked at ISRO for quite some time.Because, in ISRO we work in very specific technology related to space, which dont have much application outside in industry. Still, I have seen few people like me, who left ISRO within couple of years and settled in other places. But thats very rare quantity. Finally, I would say, if working at ISRO is his dream, let him follow it. He might find it interesting.

There are many ways 1. You can join Indian institute of space science and technology (www.iist.ac.in/) to do your bachelors in space science and directly get into ISRO. 2. Or else, you can do your btech in ECE/EE/CSE and clear isro exams and interview to be in ISRO. Let me know if you have any further queries?

Unfortunately you can't do anything. There is no way to refuse. You have to join the allocated location and later will try to relocate

They will give you leave for 6 months to complete course work. Then you have to manage with job. And there wont be any paycut

No...centre allocation is completely random. You have no control over that. You can anywhere

Exact role I am not much aware of as there are very limited civil eng/scientist in ISRO. Also work pressure varies in different centers.

Better than CSE, but not upto the mark of kind of research private farms like Samsung, Qualcom does.

Sir iam class 12th student , if I want to become a scientist in ISRO , What course should I do after my 12th
There are many ways
1. You can join Indian institute of space science and technology (www.iist.ac.in/) to do your bachelors in space science and directly get into ISRO.
2. Or else, you can do your btech in ECE/EE/CSE and clear isro exams and interview to be in ISRO.

Depends on what you are aiming for. Salary wise almost similar...but isro ia govt job , with prestige and security. But yes exposure with cutting edge technology you might miss there
