For those non-Muslims who kept saying they want the suit, go get it, clothes doesn't have gender roles nor religion roles, just wear what you want and what you're comfortable with, don't let society decide what is right and what is not.
Right on!
@nakazo yeah lol
Where can I buy one? There's an virtual store? Because I'm in Perú.
Theres limits to this, some clothing items or styles etc that came from another religon/nationality or race have rules and wearing them wrongly or other stuff could be offensive. But yeah!!
@Xaviera
As a Muslim, If you’re not being disrespectful while wearing it, I don’t see how it’s a problem
Honestly, I would just wear this to not worry about how my body looks at the beach and enjoy myself
Exactly what I was thinking!
Exactly! No sunburn, no cellulite, no shaving, and better yet, no creepy leering. Or hopefully, less creepy.
exactly why it is liberating for women.
Okay legit... YES omg wearing a two piece feels almost like being naked
I can see why a lot of women say they find freedom in covering up. As women we are judged as much by our physical appearance as our accomplishments.
Went swimming at a Muslim friend's house once, but didn't bring a swimsuit. She said "Don't worry I have a onesie pajama thing you can wear." I swam in long sleeve fleece pj's with feet attached....Fun and kind of adorable actually. 😊
A dream come true
😂😂😂
I have been swimming in pj's since forever.
Thats brilliant
That sounds fun lol
I’m friends with a Muslim girl and she has a pool, so one time I went to go swimming there with her and I forgot my swimsuit, so she gave me her hijabi swimming suit and it was the most comfortable thing I ever wore, as someone with sensory processing disorder. I’m getting that swimsuit when I’m older 100%, even if I’m not Muslim!
YES! 👍

Honestly I’m not Muslim but I feel like wearing a full coverage suit would make me feel more comfortable and I wouldn’t have to get burnt every time I try to go out!!!!
yeah it also makes me feel comfortable covering my body parts that I don’t want other people to see
Yeah it's true, I can never feel insecure about body.
Because sometimes other peoples make joke about my body.
Nobody can say i have stretchmarks or anything else.
That's why I love this type swimsuit.
I'd feel the same! Nobody should feel they have to show all at the beach and nobody should feel they shouldn't wear whatever suits them best. I for one would absolutely adore one of these full coverage suits! 😊❤️

Shein actually carries something similar more. I'm Christian and am looking into it because I would live to swim and not be in my underwear (basically)
I used to go to this water park every year with my family in the summer and their were always the NICEST Muslim families there. They always looked so happy! I love how you educate people about these subjects :)
Tbh, i never understood why people have to get naked to go to the beach when waterproof clothing exists. You'll just have higher chances of catching a sunburn.
Btw, this is only my opinion, if you wish to dress with less clothing, that is completely your choice.
Some choose so because of sun tanning but others just do it not knowing why they do it
Uh because usually its hot, and being in water with less clothing is a lot more comfy.
@Darth Sidious bikini basically underwear uk right

I love to feel the water on my skin
Actually, when it comes to the sun and your skin, covering up is the best protector, not sunscreen. Therefore, this swimsuit protects in more ways than one!
Oh my God especially kids and especially if you've already survived cancer these bathing suits are a must
Vitamin D: am I a joke to you
@@mallikasharma13 I know you are joking. But some people are really concered about that. You can simply supplement Vitamin D. But you can die from skin cancer. Easy choice imo.
@@johanna2690 Vitamin D is hard to supplement though. It’s better to get your sun as long as you’re being careful about it. Like timing your exposure and wearing sunscreen. Edit: plus you can die from lack of Vitamin D. So we’re both correct.

I’m a Christian and wear swim clothing comparative to the dude in the video (a swim shirt and long shorts). As I don’t feel it’s right that just because we switch locations and have sand under our feet, we can all-of-sudden walk around practically in the nude 👙 . No one forced me or taught me other than being led by the Holy Spirit that it is wrong to expose myself. The bonus, I don’t feel awkward or in a rush to dress myself after swimming, especially around male family members. 🙈As it’s just awkward to be practically naked in a bikini around other males quite frankly. I also love the sense of freedom modest clothing brings me instead of wondering if I “look decent” in certain revealing clothing. God is good.
Same here, sister. I'm a Christian too and I used to wear bikinis all the time when I was younger, but now that I think about it, just because we're at the beach doesn't mean we can all of a sudden stop being modest and respectful. I wish more people understood that revealing clothes aren't empowering for every woman, as many of us prefer a rather modest outfit to feel good. Have a nice day and GOD bless you 🙏🏻❤😃
......... They aren't doing it because they're afraid of their male family members. There's values there, sure, but it's not fear. If you have to be afraid of your male family members sexualizing you that's a PROBLEM.
@@chevgage6210 There is no fear. My male family members are all respectful and honorable towards women. The concept of me being practically naked in front of them bothers ME. Modesty is a good thing.

I'm not Muslim, but I also love these swimsuits. I have sensory issues and I don't like the feeling of touching wet skin (no, not even my own), plus I'm super pale and burn really easily in the sun. And as a bonus the one I have is just snug enough across the chest to help keep the waterproof covering I need for my central line in place (let me avoid having to answer awkward questions about the tube hanging out of my chest), but it also doesn't bring any extra attention to my chest. So I am considering buying a second one for next summer. I love it, and it's perfect for me. So thank you to all the Muslim women (and men) who have worked to make these more widely available. Because of these I can go with my family to the pool or the beach and enjoy it instead of spending the day feeling exposed, and uncomfortable, before going home with horrible sunburns.
That’s a loooong comment
My issues are with touching wet clothing, especially being in wet clothing 😂

@Rat Boi I need the swimming suites but there is no where to swim here bcs we r in a desert so all I can do is just cry in the corner and dream abt that swim suit 😭👀
Agreed
Yeah, me too. Years ago when my son was little we stayed at this waterpark resort and I saw a couple of ladies wearing these kinds of suits, splashing around and having a ball with their families. Their suits were so pretty! I had a plain black racer suit and I still always felt overexposed and like I was being judged. I think these suits would be great even for a lot of non-Muslim women who just want to swim and have fun without feeling you are constantly being judged for every flaw in your body.
Hurry up! Get one.
We can also be very modest showing our bodies. Our genetics haven’t got anything to do with our values. Nevertheless, we shouldn’t let anybody impose to us what we have to wear. If you want to go covered, then go covered if you don’t, then don’t.

Why do men not have to cover as much skin? Sure, he isn’t wearing a Speedo... but I see his head, neck, arms and legs... why not be fully covered like her?
God honored women in Islam by wearing modest clothes it makes them elegant and protect their bodies from the prying eyes and men don’t have to be fully covered because I don’t really think that anyone will get turned on by seeing a man’s leg or smth unlike women so hijab is to protect women not double standards it’s just god gave us men and women different rules to match our differences
And actually in Christian relegion Mary the virgin was actually modest and covered her whole body and nuns also wear modestly and cover their heads so it’s not just Islam
@@reemgamal8952 Protect their bodies from what? Man's gaze? The equality should also be based on what you wear (where we can be equal because it's not based on biology), if you can not control yourself, no religion will help you. That just means you are weak.
The patriarchy. All of the Abrahamic religions are built on misogyny.
@@reemgamal8952 tbh it doesn’t matter what a woman wears. Some men will still harass a woman if she’s covering everything, even her face
Listen guys in Islam All Muslims men and women must wear wide clothing that doesn’t describe the body contour or sheer clothes and women must cover their bodies except their hands and their face while men must cover the area from above his belly button till under his knees you may say this unfair but it’s not about complete equality between the 2 sexes in religion its about making rules which are fair and considerate of the differences between them and yes religions have to do with biology god created us completely different from men so why should we be completely treated like them ? I will just give an example we pray 5 times a day and fast a month every year called Ramadan and when a woman gets her period (you know that some women have difficult times during their periods) so in Islam women can’t pray or fast because in that time she is weak and must rest while men certainly don’t 😅😅

Everyone is upset because a woman decides to dress modestly for her religion and calling it double standards when in the end of the day its her choice to follow. There are muslims who dont wear the hijab nor who dont cover up but are respected/regarded as a muslims. End of the day: she is her own person and she is allowed to wear what she wants and follow what she believes.

I am not an aspie, but same, that feeling when you pull wet swimwear away from your skin gives me the ookies
@@emilymulcahy Thanks… now I can’t un-feel this. Lol. Same same
Birds of a feather, we can all go skinny dipping (in my case chunky dunking) in our own space without sticky swimwear
I'm not ASD nor anything but I was taught that this may give me a cold because I'm covered in wet cloth.
I’m not Muslim or anything but this does make me feel a bit better about being the only one with their whole body covered while everyone else is in bikinis at a pool party
What's great is that designers have finally begun thinking about womens' needs for swimwear. These are beautiful styles that are not cumbersome or outdated. I don't choose this style of swimwear for myself but can truly appreciate everyone's decision for what they need/want. Thank you to the Saleh family for opening up these discussions about life as a muslim/muslim family. There has been so much fear towards the muslim religion because of ignorance. They bring discussion with light, comedy, and charming brilliance. Peace to you my sweet friends.
Why do women have to hide more parts of their body than men in your religion? (Genuinely curious)
because sexism
@@zey1966 we should do something about that then, and I mean in society in general, not a religion in special
@@zey1966 it's not because of sexism, women are honoured in Islam
@@aimenf2991 the honor culture is part of the problem
You employ « have to » when we were never forced to do so, we are advised and it’s our choice

i’m not even muslim, i just love your guy’s story and it brings a tear to my eye to see someone with such beautiful hearts and have such a beautiful family discriminated based off religion. i love you guys!
I love this. Modesty is so underrated. People who are modest of more confident. Non-muslim. I wish christians would adopt this life decision.👍🏿
Some do.
These are great!! I’m actually a Muslim girl myself, and I wear a wetsuit that covers everything. I wear it with a skirt so it’s covering the bottom part of my body. And a hijab that covers all my hair and doesn’t fall off :)
Thats a smart idea i love that ❤️
hii, may i know wat type of hijab material do you use for swimmingg :)
@@haheh3fah I use a polyester one-piece hijab! I usually tuck the hijab in the swimsuit, or wear the hijab and then wear the swimsuit over the hanging ends. It’s a great technique and it won’t fall of when swimming/diving. I’d recommend a hijab under-piece to hold the hair and so the hijab had more of a grip on your head and is more likely to stay in place and not fall off :)
Oh cool
❤. I also wear this but I pair it with a swim cap.
I'm not Muslim, but this interests me as I burn easily and am afraid of sun damage. Also bonus you don't have to shave!!
@@KingsCrossVIP I think she means don’t have to shave legs and arms 🙄 I hope others keep their private parts clean already.
guys she is SO PRETTY OH MY GOODNESS
In islam woman is not just about cover body they have to much wear so loose as no one shouldn't understand her body shape .. it's no only about about cover body it is about to hide herself from people's who is no supposed to see her .... And this kind of swimsuit is no appropriate ...
What if they want to be professional swimmers? Like Olympics. The uniform is very tight to increase speed.
@@brooke3849 no. Do something great for you and for this world. Be remembered for good. This duniya is the best place. Focus on your career not on God.
As a heavyset woman now in my 50's who never struggled with weight before I can now more than ever appreciate a good full cover swim suit. Even at size 4 I was never comfortable showing my body like that. I don't judge those who do but I LOVE your swimwear and your channel too!!
I had a male friend with body confidence issues ask his local pool if he could wear a swim shirt and they wouldn’t let him :( it’s awful. As long as it’s the right material and hygienic (not been worn all day and clean) why shouldn’t we allow anyone to wear a swim outfit that covers you. Then on tv I saw swim leotards being worn and I told him to go back and prove it and fight for the manager to allow it but his confidence was already knocked. He also has arthritis and a pool would have been good for him as he only gets aqua therapy at a hospital pool 1 a month.
-_-
Same.
One day i saw someone with a wetsuit. Maby i thry this myselfe in the future.
Better convert my friend
Shouldn't have gotten fat in the first place. Its not like you wake up one day and are obese. It's just a sign of no self control and food addiction.
*never have to worry about getting burned* as a ginger, I need these swim suits in my life
Red heads and historically gaelic folks need that coverage. I'm lucky my blood is diluted enough that I tan 2 days after burning. I feel for you though.
@Carol Chidester oooooh I 100% would 🙃 in past the point of wanting to wear a bikini. Give me all the coverage and comfort
@@kaitlynw7711 I'm a redhead too, and I really want that swimsuit! It looks amazing and comfortable at the same time
As a fellow pasty redhead I bought burkini a few years ago and I love it so much!
I’m into it.Not only does it protect from the skin cancer causing rays but it would cover all of the things I’m insecure about. But she is so pretty she could wear a burlap bag and still look perfect! 👌
So true sana is gorgeous!
I am a Christian but I believe that Muslim’s can teach the world the value in modesty. I often see my fellow Christians with barely nothing on at the beach.
Maybe they barely wear anything ca7se it actually looks good
Waiting for them to show swimsuit, waiting, and finally realizes at the end everything worn was the swimsuit
I love that modest swimwear is more available. There are many cultures who would buy them plus those who for personal preference want more coverage. A few years ago there was an uproar about "burkini's"... as a costumer I was able to remind a friend that such a look was the rage of fashion in France at the turn of the century.
Agreed! When I was on my honeymoon I was first introduced to them and there were barely any styles to pick from! I’m so happy there’s variety now!
@@SalehFamily I worked with a pair of Mormon girls who were on the hunt when they each got married. That was within the Last 8 years. They were both so discouraged by the options available; particularly with in Canada.
@@SalehFamily similarly relatable is Will's previous video about finding men's shorts. My pastey legged farmer was very self conscious on our recent Panama Cruise.

I get disgusted just by how wet and cold the one piece swimsuit gets, wearing this would be a nightmare
It might be that she’s living in a hot country so the water doesn’t make her cold and upset like it would for us.
@@kristingallo2158 you can use turbans or a swiming cap.
@@kristingallo2158 id imagine a wetsuit would be too form fitting and not modest enough. And the guys get to just wear normal swimwear and not be super hot, unsafe and uncomfortable! 🙄
Actually no
Itself not like that, the kind of fabric this swimsuit is made of makes it dry the moment you get out of water, and when you suim it feels comfortable cause it's not so tight nor too wide, totally comfortable and doesn't give you a sun burnt 😂😂
“Just ask a surfer” , I love how easily y’all relate your experience as practicing Muslims to literally anybody else. I have really learned so much through your channel. Sending y’all al my love ❤️
Why do men not have to cover their whole legs and only up to their knees?
Because the man only have to cover from the dot in his stomach till the knees, he can cover more if he want
@@PalestineTruth but why tho😀
@@elamiri858 Obviously, because the area from the stomach to knee is private no one can see it, except the wife

A lot of waterparks don't allow headwear or shirts while going down some slides, so what would muslims do in that situation, just not ride the slide? A rash gaurd may work for men but women still have to worry about headwear
Really because all of the water parks I’ve been to water country included I’ve always seen Muslim hijab wearing women and it never seem like they had a hard time.
Yes actually many hotels and water parks don't allow them and it's really unfair cause their outfits is made for only swimming
@@haifa1521 Thats literally insane. They should be able to enjoy these spaces as well.
@@dimed5820 I know lifeguards are told not to allow a hijab on the slides but some of them are cool with it and hope their supervisor doesn't see.
I'm sure it differs depending on the park, but at the one in my town they are told to use discretion. The head covering rule is supposed to be for hats, swimcaps and anything that may come off or get stuck on the ride. Since that hijab seems to be part of the outfit it would be fine. The exceptions aren't just for Muslim women either. Alopecia and cancer often makes people want to cover their heads. There are reasonable exceptions that are allowed. It makes the park look inclusive while not violating their business insurance (which I believe is the source for most of these rules)
I'm a hijabi who loves swimming. I love my burqini. In my country malaysia, i am not getting stare at except 1 time there were Taiwanese tourists- maybe they never saw a burqini before. I went to Australia, UAE, Thailand wearing burqini but no one looked at me weirdly...if they did, i would ignore them, like i did to the Taiwanese tourists.
They look to me like they would get uncomfortable, either too heavy when wet or too hot outside of the water. Are they comfortable or just something you get used to?
@@brittybee6615 it is comfortable. It is actually a lot cooling when the sunlight don't hit your skin directly. It's not heavy.
I love it! I'm not Muslim but am part of a group where full body coverage (neck to wrist to ankle with a skirt below the knee) is required. A onesie with a skirt sewn in the waist is what I've made for swimming, otherwise I'd just where my regular ankle length dress.🤩 I love learning and your content is always so wholesome.
I'm not Muslim but I always feel uncomfortable swimming with friends or at a beach in typical swimwear, so definitely going to check this out! Thank you!!
So cute! I love the modesty. No flaunting, no egos.
Why is flaunting bad though?
Women covering their bodies or not has nothing to do with their egos. You can like modesty or immodesty without putting others down.
Surfers🤝Muslim women rockin the body swimsuits
This is different from a wet suit, but I would be really interested to know if it’s ok for Muslim women to wear a full wet suit and swim cap.
This much fabric is not really possible to swim in. Especially in the ocean.
@@usernumberinfinity4090 oh yeah I know it’s different, but I would think it could be possible? I do know it might become tricky with the bottom part due to the pants being very tight against the skin, don’t know if modesty might play into that.
@@sosweetastory5633 yah that I would be interested to know! I’m a surfer in so cal.
This is not surfing attire ... she would drown in the ocean. I think you might be right about the tightness of the wet suit not being modest. But that’s unfortunate because you can’t really swim in this much fabric.
@@usernumberinfinity4090 yeah. It possibly could be like a sarong type deal, not sure. It seems like it sa wetsuit with a skirt so potentially the skin is removable with a swimming cap type hijab so you can take the skirt off when your swim and put it back on where you’re not. I’d have it is they couldn’t swim
@@sosweetastory5633 yah I Asked in my own comment and in a few other reply’s bu no one answered so guess we just have to speculate. Lol but I live in so cal and I am a life-guard I have personally never seen a hijabi woman swimming.

Why isn't the guy concerned about his modesty?
Did you hear what he said?. He said he does care what clothing he is wearing as he is not fashion forward, then he asked his wife what pieces was her favourite. He did not say he was not care about his modesty.
He does care about his modesty!
He doesn't care about which one of his "long shorts" he prefers to wear. While as Sana has a favourite swinsuit!.
How do you not get that?!
Islamically, his modesty is between his navel and his knees. So he is covered properly
