I Sparred today with an injured right bicep so I know the feeling You can only use your lead hand Jab and hook and defend so much. Saki the most technical kickboxer of the heavy weights. I enjoyes it when he had to fight a Korean tall guy and gave him more than 70 low kicks in a match. So technical. However, he came a bit weight and length short to become a real K1 champion unfortunatly

Alistair was a phenomenal fighter. He defeated the best of the best in both MMA and Kickboxing. No other fighter can say that. On his best day he beats anyone in either sport.
If you pay attention, Saki was not doing combos as usual with his right arm because Ghita damaged him in the previous fight. Overeem saw it and took advantage. If Saki was in perfect shape I would bet my money on him!
the problem with this K1 tourney is that a full-blown heavyweight like Overeem winds up fighting a light-heavyweight. Kind of a mismatch. Both are great fighters though, no doubt.
Saki is a heavyweight too you know, 95kg+ is all the sam category.. Yes Overeem has some advantage in height & muscle, but Saki has speed & explosive power too.
That version of Overeem was already a shell of his former self. A younger Overeem was much more dynamic. This version of Overeem just walked down the much smaller guy and looked for a couple of good shots.
Saki is the most enjoyable fighter to watch among heavy weights I really enjoy the music of his strong punches when they are landed accurately on his opponents bodies

This version of Reem is hyper juiced. Man's a killer in K1-Pride era.
the problem with this K1 tourney is that a full-blown heavyweight like Overeem winds up fighting a light-heavyweight. Kind of a mismatch.
Both are great fighters though, no doubt.
Saki is a heavyweight too you know, 95kg+ is all the sam category.. Yes Overeem has some advantage in height & muscle, but Saki has speed & explosive power too.

You could tell the Ubereem didn’t want to hurt him more than he had to. Plenty of spots he could have ripped right hooks and didn’t.

That version of Overeem was already a shell of his former self. A younger Overeem was much more dynamic. This version of Overeem just walked down the much smaller guy and looked for a couple of good shots.
