I sometimes watch your videos a second or third time as I am preparing myself to have my Mom go into Memory Care. You have helped me so very much. Thank you and God bless you.

My 66 yo husband’s issues started with a bad fall downstairs onto concrete landing face up, lots of blood and suffering a moderate TBI at age 62. He was a changed man after that…then had two more traumatic falls, down the same stairs, outside breaking wrist, then fell in house and laid on floor for days before I had a friend check on him. He was in assisted living, but six months ago said he was too unsafe to live there, so now he is permanent nursing home resident. Wheelchair bound, rarely any walking, and he is very weak. Going to try and get on Medicaid as home is $10K a month. Maybe you could do a vlog on TBI and brain issues. His MOCA test came back 17, and he’s had brain scans but no in depth testing. I have him by me now, very rural, so would be very difficult to drive him two hours for testing. Thoughts?

I have never heard of a TBI ending up progressive. That's awful! I'll see if I can find more on this. Wishing you the best.

Victoria York, my 23 year old daughter had a TBI injury after a car accident. Standard medical care only got her so far. What really helped was High Performance Neuro Feedback. Perhaps after exploring all standard medical options with your husband you could look into High Performance Neuro Feedback. Many elite athletes use HPNF. From Canada, best wishes to you and your husband,

It happens. For some reason, they stop eating. it doesn't happen to everyone, but we've seen it more than once.
