I use micro wave plates under my crock pots and brat fryer to protect the counter from the heat and grease

We also call it a hot water heater down here in the south.
Also we call the radiator on a car a (rai-de-a- tor) not rad. It always tickles me when scrap farm pronounces it that way.
It's funny how in different parts of the country we pronounce things differently.
Here in Illinois, I am used to hearing hot water heater too. As long as WE know what we mean, it's nothing that serious, right?

I love hearing the red-winged blackbirds! Reminds me of when I was little and my daddy took me fishing at our city lake. Those birds always sang to me. Its weird how baby dinosaurs can bring out the most treasured memories. There aren't any by my house, so on Father's Day I drove out to the lake just to listen. And to talk to my Daddy in heaven and to praise God for the reminder. I felt his spirit there. And the birds were still singing! Thank you!

I still say this channel is far better than cable television.
Mike roe did an episode of dirty jobs in moorhead, Minnesota at the water treatment facility which is 2.5 miles from my pad. He also did an episode in Becker County in Minnesota showing how the rescue squad pulls vehicles out of lakes during winter months.

Watching you is saving a lot of metal going into the landfills. Like others do the dumpster driving for other things. Makes this world a cleaner one a small percentage.
Got a good cover furniture polish and cover up most of that discoloration in a couple of pin nails to reinforce loose corners could work wonders! My vote is go for it put it in your truck
Paul, when you where at harbor freight it looked like someone's billfold behind that 2nd dumpster. It went but so fast I couldn't see it real well.

I think people are getting super tight with their money tight now...not going out and making unnecessary purchases. So they are less likely yo despose of outdoor furniture if it has a few chips in the paint. So that's less waste to deal with on one hand, but for scrapers it's rough. When the big box stores are discounting higher priced electronic items that were hard to get last year, but raising food prices...that tells you where people are spending their money. The greed is making it tough on the consumers and those just trying to survive right now. It's nice to have friends that are looking out for you Paul. Stay healthy and happy my friend!
Had to laugh when you said the Waterfall dresser was rickety. You would be too if you were that age. I would talk to Chris about making a table out of the architectural sculpture pieces. Let him put it on Craigs list or Market place. Be safe.
Paul can you drill a hole into the broken off piece and then put a whole stainless steel screw in, then unscrew the whole piece from your tire?
The broken off piece is a screw. I'd have to use a reverse bit. I think I'm just going to use a punch and push the screw into my tire and plug it. The screw might bounce around in the tire but I doubt if it will damage the rubber at all
if you don't have the tire plugged already discount tire does them free. it's worth it to make an appointment or be able to drop it off for awhile, though.

Awesome finds and I know you like the gear table but it's not made good if it's bent 😉 😜. It needs a new life as a motor block or as art. Don't know but that baby Olivia is sweet as can be. I have a chawennie and she thinks she is a bull dog. Lol she weighs almost 5lbs. Take care 🙂

Hi Paul! Have you ever thought about going through dumpsters at your industrial park, if you have one? My brother and his family live in Cottage Grove, Minnesota and it was super hot, they lost electricity till 1am, ugh! They have 5 kiddos, so miserable! 🥵 ♥️
I wouldn't be able to get out of the dumpster LOL. I guess I should get better with my dumpster stick and rope magnet.

Paul, pavement can get too hot for doggie feet, too.
The high heat of summer can becomes extremely hazardous for your dogs paws. There is a simple test in which you can do to check whether the pavement is too hot for your pet's paws by doing the “seven-second test”. Simply touch the pavement with the back of your hand for seven seconds. If you can’t hold out for the full seven seconds because the surface is too hot, then it’s also too hot for your dog’s paws.

I used to work in a place we used to recycle plastic.. mostly Styrofoam products melt it down and make pellets out of it and extrude the pellets and make picture frames. I liked it just because we were keeping the Styrofoam out of the landfill.

Take your water bottles fill them a third full freeze them at cold water going out the door. Wrap in a thick towel and enjoy cold water on your route. I did when I delivered mail. But I used a cooler for my lunch and snacks. That will save you money and you can eat healthier.

Paul. there is a guy in Elkton Oregon that is taking plastic and turning it into premium gasoline. Runs and burns really clean and will clean out the injectors too!

In Australia we call them a Hot water tank. The names combined get you the error.
You just rub Ivory bar soap along grooves and the drawers will slide in and out smoothly on the dresser.
Paul do the second hand stores take the microwave glass plate, because I do know they do in Canada
I just heard from another commenter that salvation army will take the microwave plates
I found the free working combo package heat pump unit by the curbside . this unit is load 2 ton heating or cooling 24,000 bth model 024. the former owner said it work fine. it took up 3 peoples to load this unit loaded in my pickup truck careful.
