Months? Try 5 years! The wait between hearing the signal getting cut on Faaip De Oiad and the transmital turning on in Vicarious. Coincidence?

You'll find that the Tool army will recommend not reacting to their videos. The reason is; the hardcore fans feel like songs and lyrics are very meaningful and purposeful. They can be spiritual as well. So the normal Tool fan would rather you follow lyrics and understand the meaning of the song. Or really listen closely to the instruments. And then dissect the song being a musician and all.

You’re the first to mention that Tool fans don't like reactions. I'm discovering music for myself and hopefully for others that aren't Tool fans, so thats my focus. Thank you for the comments.

@@GuitarSoloReactions I didn't say they don't like reactions. I said they don't like the VIDEOS. Most reactors get wrapped up in watching the trippy video and don't really say much about the song, which is pretty much what you did. And being a musician you'd think you'd take a little deeper dive. This is what Tool fans like and it's going to be the majority of your viewers. How many comments are, " wow! I've never heard of this song?" And how many are, "Great tune! I'd recommend this track next?"
I'm just trying to help and give you some insight as where you haven't seen 30 other people's reactions to Tool songs nor read their comments.
And every reactor says they're doing it for themselves but then why are you posting it on RUclips if you're not trying to get likes, subscription, or a community that likes your videos?
Run your channel how you see fit. I'm not telling you what to do but I'll bet my life savings you're going to see more people say not to react to their videos in this comment thread and on other Tool videos if you react to more official videos. Or even some fan made videos are pretty trippy too.

Sorry I misunderstood and appreciate the advice, Tool is, for the most part, the only band where I use the studio recording for reactions and the videos they put out. I prefer live videos to see what a band is really about. As you know, not many live Tool videos out there that sound and look decent. So I'm left with what they put out and the visual elements that they choose.
I try not to talk too much during Tool videos because many of the songs are transformative and great to listen too especially for the first time. As for the visual aspect of the Tool videos, I few have been interesting visually..

@@GuitarSoloReactions the videos have their purpose. I believe the guitarist is behind creating them too which is interesting. I feel that for a first time listen it's distracting and I feel like some reactors tune out listening to what's going on and then start focusing on the weird imagery. There's actually a guy like four comments below me that said, never watch the Tool videos. Like I was saying it's not only me. Especially with how complex their songs are with every instrument doing something odd or crazy sometimes and even the lyrics being very meaningful and purposeful.... us Tool fans want the first time listener to "get" the song or meaning that we may have on our first or second listens. I can't think of one Tool video that actually depicted what the song was trying to put across. Maybe one video has some imagery where it happens to line up with some lyrics, but I don't think that's purposefull.
I have no issues with you not pausing much either. Listen to the songs how you like. And say what you or want or don't say much. I just think with you also having a musical background you can have a lot of insight and even pick up stuff the tool fans never did. Good luck.

Thank you, looking forward to more videos, I have to the first ten I did really blew me away, so hoping to find something that recaptures those first listening. For me talking about the players is redundant, although I will keep doing so, each player has such amazing tones and unique playing styles. Great band.

I don't have a favorite Tool song! It's whatever I listened to last. You'll find a lot of die hard fans feel the same way.
