@@GoatedAtNFS i think honestly it has pontential to be goty for racing Sims alought i think iracing does better alot of those games like iracing and iracing itself arent on things other than pc so it makes them near impossible to play but forza is on everything and its handling model feels better than any other racing game ive played thus far besides obvi i racing and the above mentioned which makes me like it alot because i want to really feel my car none of this fake horizion shit where my car feels weightless like i dont see how anyone likes the horizon franchise like hey guys look i can driver super unreaslitic like uh good for you billy but you go play in the special sand box and the rest of us will be doing some real driving

The upgrade system is why I finally left the game. I hate the grinding of acquiring car points the way they have it set up. Towards the end I was running the entire practice session start to finish just to have a reasonable amount of points for my next round
It's genuinely impressive really just how strange this game is... It's weird how after being forced to buy a car for a single player series, then spending the next 45 minutes hot lapping it to unlock upgrades and enough points to make the car actually nice to drive, I don't feel like spending another 45 minutes doing the races in the race series that I bought the car to do...
What the fuck were they thinking... Seriously
Edit: I'm so over it because of the stupid upgrade system I probably won't even re-download if a full Formula Drift expansion drops with track layouts and shit, because building and tuning your own drift cars is gonna be the same nightmare... I've got hours on hours on hours of drifting aimlessly around tracks in random cars, Audi/BMW wagons, Pulsar GTiR etc nevermind countless hours on time attack.. Oh well, time to drag out the Xbox 360 again

@@thesweetteasystem1108The new system has already negatively affected multiplayer too, not just singleplayer. It ruins experimentation with different cars, meaning people only stick to the meta (literally miatas in every E, D, C and B class event) It leads to online racing feeling repetitive. Been playing forza for over a decade and I've never felt the need for a change like this, fm4 was the perfect example of maintaining player retention simply with good and varying content that actually kept you interested... not like the live service FOMO bullshit (fear of missing out) tactic that has now been implemented into the career mode. The only purpose the upgrade leveling system serves is to artificially increase your playtime. What do you get for putting extra time into the game and increasing your car levels? Nothing, just the same feature we've had since forza motorsport 2... if a feature is implemented which basically forces people to play the game (like fomo) it's most likely because the game just isn't good enough and/or lacks content to naturally maintain player retention.
Versus grinding for Credits to pay for upgrades? To be honest, I actually like it this way, prevents the problem games other games have, where peeps only need to figure a way to exploit earning credits for a couple days and then just just buy upgrades and go.
You have to Master each car. Me, personally, I just use Rivals, where you an upgrade as you go and test cause and effect... versus making a missile without any ability to proper control said missile.
With how many hypercars have been awful in Motorsport games for a while its very clear T10 dont ever play test it its all probably all done using the PI virtual circuit calculations and job done with them I cannot see this car being fixed anytime soon
Yes the P1 is almost undrivable for example. And I couldn’t figure out how to tune its weird bouncing out for example. Totally agree

Honestly, the car levelling system could have been cool if there was actually fun stuff to do with the cars to level them up.
Like, if the campaign series weren't the same thing every time and we're specifically designed around each car as you build it up through the series... But no, it's the bare minimum grind fest, and then the 'live service' is just the exact same with fomo mixed in

Hey Devon, thanks for using my livery. The Valkyrie has problems with suspension geometry that needs adjusting like the Porsche 919. The car sounds fine, could be better, but nowhere near the worst butchering of car sounds I've heard. Anyway the Valkyrie is really scary to drive when fully upgraded due to sheer speed and ultra high downforce.
I wonder at what point all the “built from the ground up” rhetoric they used to drive pre-sales is legally actionable. They got me, and I haven’t even touched this game since about a week after it came out.
All the circuits are built from the ground up. There's no lie.

There must be zero playtesting before this game, or its updates are put out. God, I miss what Forza used to be back in the FM4 day. On another note, if Turn 10 was so set on "player retention" and "play time" all they had to do was create a legitimate career mode thats been done a million times before and have atleast mediocre AI.
When this car came out in gt7 the handling was so messed up that I thought there was something wrong with it. I guess it's just like that?
I use it in GT7 and it handles great, what are you talking about? Especially with racing softs it has huge amount of grip yet its still very responsive in slow sections.

It actually handles much better in Forza. On GT7 it's unrealistically understeering. And applying racing tires and AWD conversion makes it into a monster.

Damn Forza has really fallen off a cliff. Its as if Turn10 intentionally want to fuck over the players with all these bugs and reskins of old content and even reselling old content as "fRoM tHe GrOuNd Up!". And this time sink of an "upgrade system" Is the main reason I decided not to touch this game. They really do take us for fools.
I've been a die hard Forza fan since the OG Motorsport on the OG Xbox, but they've totally FUBAR'd this game.
I guess they didn't get the 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' memo.
I cannot wait until the next Forza Monthly when they will be all pumped up to tell us about how amazing their game is lol and what exciting new things we can look forward to 😂😂. Here's hoping they apologise for the dreadful state of the game..

Hmm, I remember running 6 F1 simulators 2 years ago at the Silverstone wing, the Wing overlooks the Aston Martin test circuit which is within the GP circuit. There were 2 Valkeries going round for most of Christmas that year and they definitely didn’t sound like that, they were also a lot lower to the track I’m sure. Wicked car, looks like it’s been done an injustice there😢
I absolutely hate how much the car moves forward in the screen when it goes fast. Is there a way to turn it off?
So, I've jumped ship and moved to GT7. There are full lobbies, and with all the licensing and "Menu book" things you have to do in order top play online, it seems to have weeded out all the rammers. My first two games had me qualify 9th and 5th, and I finished 10th and 5th respectively, with excellent side by side racing and drivers leaving racing room, etc. Was pretty refreshing, actually! I do think that forza looks better, and the cars in forza "feel" better, and I like the multiplayer system better than GT7, but the racing is so poor in Forza right now it's hard to stay...
It was already clear that gt7 looks better overall you should watch digital foundry camparsion, fm even uses outdated inaccurate car models from the original motorsport, the enviroments might seem more detailed in forza but at times they add stuff thats inaccurate to how it looks in reallife,
Forza only has better multiplayer for daily races, but gt7 has the world live events witch forza dosen’t even have
So many things wrong with this game and turn10 just aren’t listening. They would rather just take our money then stick their heads in the sand. Turn10 can’t even get the replays to work properly so there isn’t much chance of they fixing anything or removing the stupid car levelling system 😢
I hope they've lost heaps of money from people watching these videos and deciding not to waste their money on this garbage!

I had to double take when I looked to try and stop the tires from spinning so much. The gas is messed up as well. It can go fo a long long time 😅
Getting enough car points is very tiresome at times... It really limits the cars I'm using as I do not have the time to do them all...
The issues with the T50 are nuts too
I found it better to grind at Spa or Suzuki, there are more sectors to score in. They don't have Scoring Sectors in Straight area, like Mulsanne, so grinding at Le Mans is 4 mins+ and 7 sectors (I believe). Not just talking the timed zones, there are also scoring sectors between. Muggello has quit a few, too. The Ovals and Brickyard have two, but they are only 30-60 min lapse.
Hate this game man, level 400ish with no exploits, 4995 rating. Havent touched it in 2 weeks, awful racing, and the developers don’t give half a shit. Game will be dead in 6 months if serious changes aren’t made

The low population definitely isn't helping, but I'm not sure if the game has ever been good at matching people of different skill levels.
I played some of the touring car races just a bit after launch and there was nearly always people a few seconds faster and a few seconds slower than me in every race. Touring cars are fairly easy to drive and upgrades weren't a thing for it either. I'd hate to see how some of the class based races go.
I know for a fact the numbers mean nothing. I was on my 2nd account with the whopping rating of 1600 and was in lobbies with people in the 4990s (I have a video of it)

This car is kinda decent with AWD and full aero. That, of course, if you put the time to grind that car.

This car painfully exposes the poorly implemented “CAR-PG” mechanic. You have to drive it until level 10 or 11 just to get tires. I’m dealing with this right now.
One aspect I do like is everyone else also has to go through the same process to get this car running ok
That process is turning people off imo
Every manufacturer that licenses their brand and vehicles to T10 should be demanding that the cars be removed from the game until they are of a suitable quality to be re-introduced.
It's a disgrace that they put this unfinished garbage in the hands of consumers.

That leveling system is shit, I only do GT spec races because of it and for some reason they make those races shit too by making them short races! Like who's idea is it to make gt cars race around Spa for example for 3 laps? I want to love this game but it's just garbage.

That was some good racing, as someone who mainly plays GT7, hopefully Forza improves for you cause a healthy community is good for both sides. But it seems like something is going on at Turn10.

My goodness however I did get the stats to return but tuning this thing is nuts. As for the sound… Horizon 5 is far superior it’s not even close… just share the sound files T10 and Playground Games 😅😅😅 granted it is better with the Race Transmission
If it wasn’t for Horizon, I’d sell my xbox to buy a playstation and get Gran Turismo. Praying polyphony decides to finally put Forza out of its misery.

Apart from the fuel. got on fine with the car, even tho i hate racing supercars, it does need traction control tho. But I'm not the only one who is pissed off with the god awfull catmr levelling. I accept the unlocking stuff , but then not being able to use any of it because you don't have enough poxy points really boils my piss. Race tyres at level 2 , whoopy f£%king do can't get them for hours and obviously means you can't get any other upgrades whilst getting the points. And another thing. Why don't some actual race cars come with race tyres as standard ? . . Would also be nice if the singke player races they add weren't allways bloddy supercars . How about some smaller cars or actual race car event's . Who would want race car events in a game about motorsport ???. . The games a joke.
Honestly, Microsoft need to step in and fire the team of thermonuclear morons at T10, and put some competent people in there. This game will be lucky to live to the end of 2024 if the devs don't turn this thing around and turn it arouns fast!
This gaming studio truly doesn’t care.. Back when people were buying discs it was imperative for the game to be perfect at launch!! Now they know they can screw people over be lazy and still make the money. Small details like the ghost in rivals throwing you off the track, to the laggy glitching menu, to have zero sense of reward for doing well/winning races. Leveling means nothing & there’s no leaderboard or option to see things like “number of podiums” in the multiplayer pre race menu. It’s disgusting at this point
I’m just grinding cars leveling up so I’m good to go when it gets good in a year.. can’t race online without being rammed even in pre race practice.. S 4918 safety rating

The AI is disgraceful. The penalty system is shocking. The upgrade system makes me want to pull my teeth out. Ture wear is a joke, they dont last long enough in MP and on single player they last waaaaay too long.

We were patient with FM6 and it was good. We were patient with FM7 and it took forever for it to become playable. Now FM is a mess and I just can't do it anymore.
I don't know what you're talking about: this car is amazing! It drives incredible. It takes a small learning curve. But once you get it (better with racing tires and AWD conversion) it's a monster. People here focus more on hating and complaining than enjoying the good things.
