I was convinced Zeb wasn't happening. I actually only decided to back the Ghost after Kanan was hit because I was debating it and the FOMO got me.
I will never understand why Hasbro choose to do carbonized figures over the unlimited Clone Troopers. We could literally have every clone trooper we want especially a Wolf Pack Trooper right now if Hasbro stopped doing Carbonized, Credit Collection and Holiday figures.

Super excited for the Ghost, and especially having the entire crew! I’m definitely opening them, but gonna do it carefully so I can keep those cardbacks! Really wish that Hasbro would do resealable cardbacks for things like this tho.

I completely expect to see the ghost crew (season 4) in a white box 6 pack on pulse. That way they keep the integrity of the exclusive TVC cards intact, while allowing everyone to buy the figs and pick up an additional $74.99 (times 22,000 backers)….
Yeah if they keep the cards exclusive, that's fine. But they should never keep entire figures locked behind a Haslab IMO. -Justin

Realistic Black Series Haslab: I would back a second go at The Rancor as long as long as the tiers actually make sense. Malakili should just come with the Rancor. No tier, just include him. Especially since the odds of him getting a mainline release are pretty slim. Oola should be the first tier since I also don't see her being released in the main line. I don't know what they would do for the other tiers but as long as I can get the Rancor and the two side characters he's most associated with, I'd have no problem forking over the cash.
Maybe Realistic Black Series Haslab(?): The Ghost. Just do what they did for TVC but make it 1/12th scale. I know it would cost $1000 at least but I think it would fund.
Pipedream Black Series Haslab: The B-Wing. Rebels' orange prototype, OT's classic white, I don't care. I'd back it immediately.

I wasn't a helmet guy but got Mando's bucket ....then Boba...then Bo....Then Poe. I absolutely love them and they add to the display usually the first thing people want to look at. Pretty fun but yes definitely space consuming.
I can definitely see it becoming a slippery slope. The clone helmet repaints might be the ones to break me down although I do love the Boba and Bo helmets I have. Thanks for watching Jon! -Nate

I can definitely see them doing the earlier season looks but they did say the season 4 looks are exclusive to the Haslab. Although YakFace from the barge, Mando from the RC, etc. all ended up getting a rereleased in some way, haha. Thanks for watching, Wizzy! -Justin

Hello Nate and Justin thanks for sharing your thoughts on the new Carbonized Ashoka 2 pack and the fully funded Ghost project.
First off I want to say to Nate and everyone else that ordered the Ghost, congratulations on getting everything that was available for this project. I'm happy that you are getting everything Hasbro made available for this project.
Now if Hasbro can accomplish making a great Haslab black series project that is not going against two other major Haslab projects, not do it during the Holiday sales season, and has good tiers that make sense for the project, maybe we can actually get it funded.
Now as for the Carbonized Figures, this set is an easy pass for myself. I have picked up a few Carbonized figures over the years most as troop leaders and a few were clearance grabs and I've done the same with Credit Collection figures.

The Ghost was the kicker but also the N1, Jabba's / Boba's Throne Room, Jabba with the dais, etc...

Do Hasbro not do any market research. So, is there a massive market out there for this carbonized stuff, or the secondary price over $100. While $500 for the Ghost is steep. It's $630 plus for the first time they want $12.60 for shipping here in the uk.

Have you guys ever been screwed by Veil's toy store before? I have an order for 3 figures that has been in us customs for a month now so I am pretty sure the package has been lost but they are still not giving me a refund. Pretty sure they are stalling until my package protection deal runs out 😅

What's up, Darth! I totally agree that a billion dollar company shouldn't HAVE to crowdfund, but they do. And if that's the avenue a collector wants to go to get an incredibly amazing dream toy like the Ghost, then I'm all for it. Of course it's all about money and profit, they are corporations operating under capitalism (not saying that's a bad thing), I don't know why anyone (including some big creators on RUclips) act surprised when it comes to these practices. -Justin
I was a day 1 backer for the Ghost, I ended up grabbing two… one for a carded set of figs and one for a loose set! I must admit I lost faith midway through the campaign but as always the TVC community came through! But back on the TBS topic haha, this carbonized pack is probably the worst one yet and will be an easy pass from me! Hasbro needs to focus on getting wave 37 (Magnaguard wave) out there instead lol

Black series X-wing Haslab. Get lights in the cockpit and it'll fund as long as they don't get greedy. Price it about the same as the GI Joe classified Dragonfly and it'll be successful.

I don't collect 3 & 3/4 scale. Not since I was a kid, but the Ghost looks tremendous. Congrats to those who successfully backed it.
Re: the Rancor, I mentioned on Usual Mike's channel, that I think they could scale it down and call it a juvenile. Ditch the action figure tiers to keep the price down, don't articulate the fingers, give it extra hand options. No cardboard backdrops and tiddly bones! Maybe if they do this it could be a retail/Hasbro Pulse release.
They can always carbonise it later.😂 Seriously though they could repaint it in snazzy colours like in the Force Unleashed 2.

Nothing apparently, just adding a shiny topcoat. It used to be for just armored characters
It is quite literally just a gimmick. Similar things have always kind of happened throughout toy line history, just a gimmicky repaint. They were actually pretty cool when they first came out, just as something different. But they just kept it going and kept it going. For far too long. -Justin

I feel the need to ask for context with the random Valaverse comment.
A very common argument that people try to make is "look at the value of this line compared to this line." Completely negating the fact that they are different IP. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, Star Wars is really the only franchise I would consider heavily collecting from. So it wouldn't make sense for me to randomly switch to an IP that I have no love for, no nostalgia, completely unfamiliar. A frequent comment I always see is, "you should switch to Valaverse. Look what they include for X amount compared to Hasbro." A different action figure line having a better "value" as a product means nothing to me if it's an IP I don't care for. It's not Star Wars, so why would I switch to it? It's just a really tired argument and a lot of the times it's specifically for Valaverse. Like how much they can include with their figures or vehicles for the same amount or cheaper than Hasbro. It's usually rhetoric used by haters of the channel. -Justin
@@OutOfTheBasement Gotcha. And agreed. I own several Valaverse figures (GI Joe is my main line, and Action Force pairs well) and I think they’re fine but I wouldn’t say they are really better value. Plus the owner is kind of a jerk. Keep making good content!

Ok, I’m ashamed…As of today I’m probably in the 0.001% percentile that actually preordered that carbonized set. Reason being that HK87 gloss job looks way way better than the very bland, generic, inaccurate horrible base red version coming. To me I’d take the carb version 8-days a week. But man, dropping $60 just to get a better “really bad” HK87 is illogical and fiscally irresponsible. Hence I’m ashamed. I want it, I’m stupid, and in a week I’ll cancel and feel better about myself…but…if Amazon discounts this set to under $45 I’ll probably reconsider. As for the carbed Ahsoka….🤢🤢🤢🤮

Every time I see these carbonized figures, I shake my head, but also breathe a sigh of relief that I’ll be saving money. Just don’t see the appeal at all. Great for those who want them (they allegedly exist), but they are easy passes for me.

Careful….Rancor is like talking politics. Don’t blame anyone but Hasbro for a failed campaign. Just Don’t. That campaign and how the community reacted it is a hole. A dark abyss of nothingness that goes nowhere… So yay the Ghost was a success. Enjoy.
There are a great many factors going into the Rancor's failure. I would never blame the fans, it's ultimately on Hasbro. Multiple campaigns running at once, holiday season, bad timing with a Rancor showing up in BOBF, bad tiers, and horrible marketing. They barely marketed the fact that Malakili was added to the base offering. However I will say the fan campaigns against it didn't help at all and only served as another reason why we couldn't get it. "Hold the Line" and "No Oola, no moola" certainly didn't help at all. -Justin
@@OutOfTheBasement - I agree 100%. We the community shouted, we’re not happy. We wanted the Rancor but over played the limited hand we thought we had for change. Result no Rancor. I think we were fools that we didn’t make Hasbro use their vast resources to create a Rancor which we would have in our collections. I just watch these groups of fans work their skill and resources together to fashion a Rancor with 3D Printing. That labor ultimately cost hundreds more to produce in resources and time. The whole campaign was basically a great big abyss of black nothingness. I don’t know if I will ever be over it. It created a twinge of distrust in me that isn’t going away. That is a vital component for a crowd fun project.
@@prophet924 That whole period of time was super stressful, especially as creators on RUclips who were huge champions of it. All of the controversy, drama, etc. It was all so tiring. We got so many toxic comments during that time too. Not just on RUclips either, but Twitter. That side of the toy community is one I try my best to stay away from, can't stand them. There will always be a Rancor sized missing spot in the collection. It'll always be in the back of my head. -Justin
