  • Solo piano version of Life’s What You Make It, the lead single from Talk Talk’s 1986 album The Colour Of Spring, a vinyl copy of which is propped on the piano stand. The song was written by Mark Hollis and Tim Friese-Greene and is in the key of A flat major. I’ve used a metronome because I found it particularly hard to stay in time on this, although it has forced me to play rather indelicately.

Thanks John Lewis Piano, always enjoyed this album (and especially this track) - from release back in 86 to this day - timeless

Love it! Just started trying this by ear, chording the vocals, matched you there but you even added the guitar line, nice. My next task :)
