Slacking at a entry level job won't make you a lot of money, Checking your phone at the gym won't give you a great body, AFK:ing in Org won't make you any gold. I agree with your comment, however being proactive and diligent is what gives you good results.

I love Frost but someone needs to address the elephant in the room; Frost lives in EU and plays on Na servers - which means he can farm all days on off hours in na (middle of the night). I have seen him get like 5 black lotus in a couple of hours on stream. That just won't happen daytime on any eu server.

Most servers at first had like 23% mages, but now the stat has gone down since people are realizing there's other classes that are maybe more fun to play to them. Mages are now at 17% more or less depending on the server.
@@TehSlice360 That's just... not true I am a lvl 58 warrior right now, and I have 120g, but leveling has been a pain in the ass since most of the time I had to eat after every 1-2 mobs, and I didn't have any mage food because.. I am not a mage... And if I pulled 3 mobs or more, my only hope was intimidating shout, which is on a kinda big CD compared to any other class CD's (frost nova, howl of terror, fear etc)
@Jesus Christ Mage has the benefit of only having to pay for repairs. Buying food even if from a mage is a drain that they don't have. Which makes them some of the best grinders. Also, kill time is much higher than most other classes until they are geared. Hell, my warrior still misses 1 in 4 attacks vs lvl 54 mobs.
"Bohoo mages OP, MOM CHANGE DIAPER" Warlocks, Spriests and druids can literally make as much g/h as mages and hunters can make a ton more with DM tribute runs up to 100g/h but no1 is complaining about them. L2P.

That's quite a lot of grinding you did there! My problem is I will grind gold for like 4-5 hours for a goal of buying an item. Buy the item then be broke, rinse and repeat. Also I made a warrior alt, rip gold.
I played a lot of classic wow, never knew there were ogres in deadwind pass, for some reason I never explored south of the road, or at least very far. All the other areas bring back fond memories particularly grinding for Crusader Formula and how happy I was when it finally dropped (but a little disappointed like everything I worked hard to get in game since I knew I wouldn't have that to pursue anymore). That moment when you can make 80 gold/h but why? (The thing is that I am a night person and oftentime login in 2:00. I have 4 hours all for myself. So I can latrol every black lotus location, gather 1, put it on hour timer and go for another. If you do it right you take 2 lotus every hour, only from running from place to place on 60% mount. First hour = 160 gold with 40g/lotus. Just got my 100% for warlock 3 days after lvl 60.)
Quick note: he is not providing any magic solutions. He is literally just recommending several ways to farm 30 gold per hour. This seems to be the harsh reality of classic wow guys. Want that epic mount? Better farm gold for 30 hours then.
@@Bob23973 I actually think us mages have an advantage on rogues. It's warlocks that are the big problem, especially if you don't have Will of the Forsaken. I'll admit I'm a bad PVP'er but I'm not sure I could beat a competent warlock, even with good execution. First of all if he has a succubus then it's unsheepable, meaning if I counterspell the succubus's charm, that's unavailable for me to use on the lock himself. His pet makes first contact with me, so while I'm dealing with that, he's free to prepare his shadowbolt...which does just as much (if not more) as my frostbolt. If you don't have Free Action potions or Will of the Forsaken, the lock is free to fear you and place dots until you're basically dead. It's just a terrible matchup for mage. Sure, engineering and pre-prepared pots can help u get a win, but in a fair fight I really don't like my chances, regardless of what I do.
Imagine selling all that gold when you were at 16k. The price was about 2dollar or 1.7€ at that time. So it was like 16k dollars per month. Good income for playing a video game if you ask me. Dude, listen I'm rogue 2. Drop skinning and get herbalism, get a gathering add-on as well. This way you will have some gold to buy yourself tanking services, gear, enchants and mount. Otherwise you are just another poor rogue
Get herbalism + mining and go outside and gather everything. Also store some mining supplies for leveling engi in the future x2. Right now during phase one you don't need engi so just focus on gold with 2 gathring

Hahaha something similar happened to me in another game, back in 2005 or so. Mu online. Had spec'd my gear to farm gold, it was something like each piece of gear gave +40% gold Point is i could wear the highest level armor, but i didn't because farming specific options for it would take forever, and people just trashed things with +gold since they thought it was useless. I was high level player (top 3 before long), running around with the third best armor which was crap, being ganked and killing players with the second best and best armor sets. Whole set gave me so much money whenever i killed something that i literally solo farmed my entire guild's armor sets, weapons, wings, etc. And gms even thought i was cheating. Was playing the market too, 3 stashes full of high cost items and best armor sets...

@@belavet I'm just guessing, but judging by his accent I think he lives in Lithuania where the cost of living is low enough that he can support himself even though he doesn't have a huge viewership.

You will make a lot lees if you are on low populated server. And that is a major factor. LvL 50 here i am at 750 gold so far

Hahaha something similar happened to me in another game, back in 2005 or so. Mu online.
Had spec'd my gear to farm gold, it was something like each piece of gear gave +40% gold
Point is i could wear the highest level armor, but i didn't because farming specific options for it would take forever, and people just trashed things with +gold since they thought it was useless.
I was high level player (top 3 before long), running around with the third best armor which was crap, being ganked and killing players with the second best and best armor sets.
Whole set gave me so much money whenever i killed something that i literally solo farmed my entire guild's armor sets, weapons, wings, etc. And gms even thought i was cheating.
Was playing the market too, 3 stashes full of high cost items and best armor sets...
Dude i played it aswell i used to be a magic gladiator with the sword skill and gold chance on gear haha

tbh i dont think frost would take gold off guys. i have been watching him for a very long time he knows how to make his own gold. he is a monster at making it he thinks nill of grind 10 hours well watching a film on his sec screen. or he chats to guys on twitch chat and answer Qs that twitch chat have.
