- Humility is that slippery quality that once you think you have it, you don't! Also, the pathway of humility is a hard one. For Jesus, it meant the cross. But humility will always be rewarded. Using Christ as our ultimate example, Paul demonstrates how Jesus' voluntary humiliation was compensated by the Father’s lavish exaltation. So even though humility doesn't come without a price, without it, there will be no harmony, no unity.

yes I agree. Many are not humble and I wish I could say I have mastered, I haven't...but I truly desire to. I know this will make a tremendous difference in my life. lord help me to understand humility and humble myself for your glory.
my Lord of Lord and King of Kings I praise and worship you you are all I have you are all I need I wake up every morning giving you things for another day that you give me to be here on this Earth I thank you for every day though I am not afraid to fear has left me for I have terminal cancer it started in my lungs that has gone to my brain but you are with me to see me through and I give you praise and glory and I know that it's going to be so beautiful once I get there and I go home with you Fathet I just asked and want you Calvary keep me in prayer Brian being attacked by family members I don't know if it's something I done or what is going on all I know is that I love you help me to get through this storm father God help me dear Lord from the you know my needs and my wants and you know the situation around me if I am wrong let me know I believe in the power of Prayer Pray For Me Lord intercedes For Me Jesus I can go on and on so I will make this short in Jesus name I love you amen
"God knows how to humble you without humiliating you and to exalt you without flattering you"
If you receive honour from God or man, "take it in stride." Don't take your own "good press" seriously. Men can turn on you in a heartbeat. The same crowd that welcomed Christ into Jerusalem as a conquering king on Palm Sunday was cry for his blood three days later.

It hit hard, the statement that the only workmanship of man that will be found in heaven, are the signs of the cross on Christ.

Ps 83:18 KJV "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, Art the Most High over all the earth.
Exo 6:3 KJV"And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
Isa 12:2 KJV "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Isaiah 24:6 KJV " Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength."
Then Jesus reminds them in the time of Moses saying:
Mat 22:31- "But about the resurrection of the dead-have you not read what God said to you, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”
ACTS 3:13 "The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him."
Gal 1:1 "Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead."
And there are more than 22 verses that it is our God the Father, whom raised Jesus from His grave....
Thanks be to God our Father for His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ His Son and for those who have a gift in teaching the the Word of God Amen
