I didn’t know what you meant early on in this teaching that Philippians 2:5-11 is one of the theological profound passages. Your teaching today has dramatically allowed me a deep understanding of these passages. In a way, the Jesus I accepted as my Savior has become “new” to me. Thank you for your teaching! I have a new love for Christ Jesus, unity in the body of the church, and how I praise my Lord. This is, to me, one of the most dramatic teachings I have ever been able to personally hear and one I will refer to very often! I want to take this understanding, absorb it, do my best to live it and for once I can say, “Yes, I see Jesus”! May God continue to bless you Dr. Guzik, sustain you and allow you more opportunities to teach us so that we are better at witnessing and bringing God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit to those we love and encounter.
What comes to mind as I listened to you speak about how Jesus humbled himself as a child. As believers if we present ourselves to God as an adults it’s going be hard for him to work on us. There’s nowhere in the bible that says adults. It’s says child throughout every books. We have to present ourselves as a child so that he can work on us and groomed us into what he wants us to be for him. It’s easier to discipline a child than an adult. My mind is blowing. 🙈😃🙌🏾
Jehovah God in my KJV, 7 times spoke to Jesus while He is heavens and Jesus was here on earth saying: "This is my Beloved Begotten Son, listen to Him whom I am pleased. Also in Jn 17:20, Rev 3:5 and verse 12, and many more verses, Jesus taught us that He has God, even He is already in heaven. In Rev 5:1-7 our God the Father sitting on the Throne holding the scroll/book with sealed on Hos Right Hand, while Jesus standing infront of Him incircled with 4 creatures walk to the Father and got the scroll because nobody can open it, exept Him alone. Stephen also testified the heavens open and he saw God the Father on the throne and Jesus was in His side before he died (Acts 7:55-56).
Ps 83:18 KJV "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, Art the Most High over all the earth. Exo 6:3 KJV"And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. Isa 12:2 KJV "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Isaiah 24:6 KJV " Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength." Then Jesus reminds them in the time of Moses saying: Mat 22:31- "But about the resurrection of the dead-have you not read what God said to you, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” ACTS 3:13 "The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him." Gal 1:1 "Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead." And there are more than 22 verses that it is our God the Father, whom raised Jesus from his grave....
I think the early Christians had more then a early bible translation, they had the confessions of many witnesses who saw our Lord ascended to heaven, they had the direct experience of the apostles, they had the Holly presence of God through the Holly Spirit who was given to the Church and the 70 apostles and is present even today . The Church of God is not founded only by the Holly book but also by the work of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ who fulfilled all the prophecies. Hallelujah Saul himself knew very well the scripture but yet he was hunting early Christians, and even though he ident live with Christ like the other apostles he become the apostle of faith only after God himself made a miracle in his life, and is like that for any Christians today, our God is a living GOD and he works every moment in our life, and every Christian know this, and live with the Lord moment by moment The bible says that in the last days all Christians will become even better the early ones through the work of The Holly Spirit and by the grace of GOD
Lord in HEAVEN , GLORY BE TO GOD WHO REIGNS FOREVER AND EVER .

What version of the Bible is used in this?
Pastor David uses the NKJV for his sermons and his free Bible commentary. Thanks for watching!
