I would suggest using Mercerized cotton crochet thread. Use a size 3 crochet thread aunt lydias crochet cotton. And you can get some swimsuit material to line it from JoAnn fabric. They also sell the thread in the yarn isle.

I am lucky enough to have one but people who don’t have to go buy one or if you are willing to cut the sides of the bottoms then that would work

You should put leggings on then try those on so we can kinda get the vibe black leggings so we can see the holes of the stuff better too
