There's nothing wrong calling it crotch.. "crotch" is the formal word for that particular part of body...some are ashamed calling it"crotch" but never offended saying "p**sy"..

Do you recommend more rows in the crotch area or on the front & back panels for a size large?

You can definitely increase on all sides to better fit you

Hey Cheryl, so for my size I did a chain of 60 for all 4 corners. You can make it shorter or longer depending on your size
