Bots are stormtroopers when fighting each other, but when they switch to you they magically oneshot wallbang you through 3 rows of debris and foliage. Also in agitated state they strafe faster than the player sprint.
This is why Gamma is Indefenitly replayable, you will never experience the same thing run after run. I just discovered your channel and i Sub. keep it up brother that was crazy run!
Red Forest is like a death trap! On daytime a lot of enemies, at night a lot of mutants. Go in there, and take it really slow, 1 after another! I played Gamma a lot of times, and it's never the same spawns or loot. Gamma is a masterpiece of a game!!! Very good Content, Eroktic! Love it

All the mods that have gotten us to Anomaly and Gamma is just mind boggling. Anomaly/Gamma has to be one of the greatest mods ever created for any game and should really get more praise. Every single time you play it, it always feels fresh like it is never the same experience.
12:55 original stalker trilogy is great introduction to stalker lore, and it's important to say that gamma is not really what stalker is about, this is a whole different experience based on stalker lore
I dropped gamma because my PC couldnt handle the end game maps but I just got a brand new one with a much more powerful CPU, time to get back into it !

I never played the original 3 because I was playing "better games" around the same time, and I don't plan on it to be honest. Those games are outdated, and I just don't have the time. I didn't even know about the STALKER franchise until years after playing DayZ. Just bear with me. 😅 While watching DayZ content of RUclips, I ended up getting fed a video of STALKER but in DayZ, a heavily modded server called The Zone (no longer up). It was a DayZ server with STALKER assets and very light roleplay elements like factions can't kill other factions they're neutral or friendly with. So, I joined Clear Sky and during an expedition with some faction members, one of them mentioned STALKER Anomaly. While I knew what anomalies were, I asked, "what's STALKER Anomaly" which he responded, "it's a mod of all the STALKER games." When he told me it was a free mod, I searched RUclips for videos of gameplay, how to download, when I ran onto a video for STALKER GAMMA. I chose to download it instead of just Anomaly and after over 2 years of playing GAMMA and even jumping into EFP, Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl is the most anticipated game since The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I believe the STALKER franchise is the greatest franchise of all time and I'm so glad to finally be a part of this community.

Never played Invictus, it never appealed to me. But I finished it on Murky Spirit with life granter every 3 days and often I play what I call Tragic Stories from the Zone. Basically ironman on custom difficulty (enemies deadly, but not bullet sponges) with increased loot (high stakes, high reward) seeing how far I can get.
For anyone curious I have been playing GAMMA since launch with a 1660 super and a Ryzen 5 3600 with no fps issues buttery smooth. If you have anything less than a 2070 you NEED to disable core 0 when playing. It fixes stutter completely for me when used with vysnc on with my g-sync monitor

I honestly wouldnt get your hopes up. The new games is basically a ground up rebuild of GSC's engine. Not to mention the fact that Anomaly was based around LUA and Stalker 2 is C++ so a lot of the newer mods will need to be recoded and probabaly wont even compile due to an entirely new code architecture and APIs. Im excited to see what mods come from this but its going to be a slow process. I know GSC have openely said the game will support modding but I cant see them sharing much documentation on this from the outset.
I got almost exactly 60€ in tips from patients last week, fate has decreed it shall be spend on Stalker on the 20th. Also just installed Gamma again, seeing the same locations after playing with the old engine will be 100% be amazing.

Non-vanilla anomalies are actually the ones tanking your framerate, I always turn them off before starting a run, dead city is literally unplayable with them.

I had to scale back pure Ironmans runs though, I have to give myself some leeway as ending the game 40hrs in to some random, crazy bs spawn was just too much. But NO to elevating run speed to outrun any mutant either, or quicklooting and skinning, that's a fc*king CHEAT haha! Feel the tension of the everyman with 1 life left and two game days to be granted another. There's just nothing like it.

Man, I had the hybrid suit and an exohelm. A gun that said, "one of the most advanced weapons in the zone", along with a Saiga and a Deer Hunter. I was in the end game, working towards a full exosuit. My OCD is weird, and I don't like multiple save files, I deleted my saves and planned to jump back into the game and quick save. I went back into the game and instead of quick saving, I switched to my desert eagle. The game crashed. END OF STORY. OCD sucks. G.A.M.M.A ROCKS. Seriously, I love this damn game.
Gamma has over three hundred mods running at once. That is why your FPS is s--t. This game is too unreasonably unfair because of the difficulties imposed on the player even if the loadout was good from the beginning. Only Stalker veterans with lots of patience and time can even hope to finish this game.

@@Eroktic as a tester for GAMMA, that's actually generally not true. They do often have gas masks but the numbers line up that FMJ will kill them in just as many headshots. they are typically wearing mediumish BR body armor which small rifle FMJ does well against as well, so if you're not hitting headshots then it's still generally the best option unless they're obviously wearing heavy armor.
Coop wont happen in anomaly thats 100% clear, the engine doenst support. I bet you have seen some Shadow of Chrrnobyl coop videos havent you. Thats possible because the original XRAY engine supports multiplayer because it was actually planned and PvP is still a thing apparently. Anomaly was build on a modified version of the Xray Engine called "Monolith", which sadly has no built in coop functionality :cc
To be honest, Stalker 2 will most likely gonna be a huge disappointment. Anomaly/Gamma is everything Stalker should've been and it took years and thousands of hours poured into it by hundred modders. It's the pinnacle of Stalker experience. GSG would need to pull off a literal miracle to mimic a fraction of it's content and depth. Also since Stalker 2 has to be a commercial success, it will inevitably be dumbed down for modern audience 👀

Console is not debug. Debug toggles off in anomaly launcher. I got 2 invictus achievements with saving like that

ANOMALY is not 3 stalkers in 1. It's just locations of 3 stalkers and freeplay with some quests.

Against Sin is viable and sometimes even optimal
Sins have no armor (in general). the reason why they are tanky is because of Knot (Lucifer). and hydrashock/an94 with HP is the best vs them
@@Eroktic as a tester for GAMMA, that's actually generally not true. They do often have gas masks but the numbers line up that FMJ will kill them in just as many headshots.
they are typically wearing mediumish BR body armor which small rifle FMJ does well against as well, so if you're not hitting headshots then it's still generally the best option unless they're obviously wearing heavy armor.

Coop wont happen in anomaly thats 100% clear, the engine doenst support.
I bet you have seen some Shadow of Chrrnobyl coop videos havent you. Thats possible because the original XRAY engine supports multiplayer because it was actually planned and PvP is still a thing apparently.
Anomaly was build on a modified version of the Xray Engine called "Monolith",
which sadly has no built in coop functionality :cc

To be honest, Stalker 2 will most likely gonna be a huge disappointment. Anomaly/Gamma is everything Stalker should've been and it took years and thousands of hours poured into it by hundred modders. It's the pinnacle of Stalker experience. GSG would need to pull off a literal miracle to mimic a fraction of it's content and depth. Also since Stalker 2 has to be a commercial success, it will inevitably be dumbed down for modern audience 👀

@WOWMelted "looks" is the absolute last thing I give fuck about. If I want to look at things I go on Google images. What I care about in a video game is the game part. The gameplay, the depth and the intricacy of game mechanics, the replayability and scope. There's realistically 0% chances they will be able to or even want to mimic a fraction of Anomaly/Gamma.
If you think gamma is what stalker shouldve been you clearly haven't played or even seen the base games. They are nothing alike, and stalker 2 should never follow the footsteps of gamma because they are just different. Gamma is a hardcore mod pack that panders to not many gamers, stalker itself has always been a story game that has simple gameplay and it should stay that way. If you want stalker 2 to be like gamma, just wait for some modders to mod the hell out of the game
