I don't cry much at all. but this song is so different. You can just tell how good of a person James was from videos online and the stories they tell about him. I definitely have a place for him in my heart.

Damn I think I'm wrong but I think I heard Syn singing while trying to hold back his tears.
Most of the time he pretty much is whenever they play this song. Rock in Rio 2013 is a good example because you could literally tell that he was about to break down.

HeyLook ItsABirdItsAPlaneNoItsAReallyLongUsername I saw them with Jimmy, with Portnoy, with Arin, and with Brooks. If there is any fault in the Arin era, blame the other four guys, because he was a phenomenal drummer that did whatever they needed him to play in all of this.
THat's 100% untrue, look at him, he has literally 0 enthusiasm, he's hitting like a rookie in an A7X cover band would. Its painful to watch.
HeyLook ItsABirdItsAPlaneNoItsAReallyLongUsername because "Fiction" is an absolutely terrible song to drum to... and he's not even playing with a band. He's drumming to the PA. Watch him play "Burn it Down" and tell me he's terrible. He plays that song just like Jimmy did
Fiction is a fantastic song, it's not about how fast it is or how complex, it's about feeling the song, I love play Seize the Day because it has passion, same with Fiction. He's so bored, looks like he'd rather do a jigsaw puzzle, and I wish he would've, instead of giving us a fucking terrible album that literally 0 people like.
HeyLook ItsABirdItsAPlaneNoItsAReallyLongUsername Fiction is an amazing song, but the circumstances of them performing it don't really leave a lot for Arin to get into. They don't perform it with live instruments... he's drumming to all of the music coming out of the PA. That's extremely awkward. He's essentially playing solo here.
You can't blame Arin for HTTK. If you hate the drumming on that album, or that album in general, blame it on the four members that wrote it and dictated to him exactly what they wanted out of the drum takes.
