I'd love to watch the little fella go running around Redgrave city, bein' all silly, sad and also agregiously lethal when he's not crying or stealing gun.
Urizen's name comes from a being from William Blake's poetry, one who embodies law and reason. Going off this, it's likely Dante's demon half would be known as Orc, who within Blake's poetry is Urizen's direct opposite, representing chaos and rebellion.
But knowing Dante, he wouldn't know any of that and go for something that just sounds cool.
@@Ilias2 That's of course assuming Dante would be the one to name him. I could see Dante being content to refer to him as "my demon half" the whole time, only for Vergil to come up with the name.

I imagine his Demon half would be a more brutal version of a trickster who wants no more than combat, while human Dante... He's heavily depressed, ans if he can use his nightmares to fight too, combat is becoming a RTS at that point.

Dante's demon half would be self-hating mindless berserk demon. Its motives won't be in seeking power like Urizen, but rather in self-destruction through carnage. It will probably seek path to underworld to kill as many demon before its own expiration.

Honestly if dante was split in 2 . The interaction between both halves would be like Ichigo and Zangetsu's interactions. His demon half probably wants acknowledgement
Ichigo and Zangetsu go quite a bit deeper though. Zangetsu does want acknowledgment, but to add to it, he's also a very jealous creature and very prideful. But despite his disposition, he does go out if his way to teach ichigo how to better use/control his own power without him, like he's completely okay with his situation.
Still very much what I imagine Dantes demon half to be like, but what I'm pointing out is that Zangetsu has some layers.
i think he’s already acknowledged it completely by the end of dmc3.
not really based on the timeline of the story he only accepts it in DMC1 but up until 5 he seems reluctant to use his Devil trigger.

Effectively the Devil would be probably the most wild and destructive force the world has ever seen. A fearsome, awesome warrior seeking greater and greater foes for pure amusement.
The human side would be the most burnt out and depressed thing you've ever seen, with a very large heart.
D becomes an alcoholic and Ante runs away giggling into sunset
In reality i think Dante's human half would be more serious in demeanor with main motivation being to deal with his demon half before it did something awful. And his demon side would be an agent of chaos and destruction who finally broke free, with broken chains being a prominent retirement in his design.
So Dmc 2 and Dmc 3 Dante then

Vergil's demon part: Urizen, the strongest part of Vergil.
Then hypothetically with Dante it would be something like:
Dante's human part: D, the strongest part of Dante.
Dante's demon part: Uranus (or something like that?), the weakest part of Dante.
And here are the reasons: Vergil cares more his demon part than his human part, and Dante cares more his human part than his demon part.

Id say his demon side should be a towering giant, but silent and with no intentions to fight. His demon power always emerged when he had the impulse to protect something or someone he loves, and its the pure manifestation of the raw power for doing so. So thats it, pure, absolute strenght and power, but with no purpose, no reason, no love, nothing. Just a manifestation of energy with no reason to exist with nothing to protect. The energy to move on... but where?
On the other side his human side would be the manifestation of all of his insecurities, now with not a bit of power to fight back. Just a sad man with a heart of gold that lived a horrible life that wants to laugh to not worry everyone else and as a copium mechanism. It wouldnt be as physically weak as V was but at the same time you could see him even happy to finally be a full human, just like his mother was, and being happy with that idea

Let's not forget, V and Urizen were both crumbling, and for both of them it was because Vergil already was before he split.
If Dante got split, his human and demon halves would both be fine. Though yeah the human half would probably be the stronger one.
In DmC: Devil May Cry, Dante is a Angel/Demon hybrid. If Vergil separate him his Angel half would be like Sephiroth while his demon half would be like Gabriel Belmont as Dracula.

To be compleatly honest, Dante's demon half is probably more akin to V than Urizen. Weak, frail, probably falling apart, or in the case of Dante's personality, a literal gremlin. Dante values his humanity highly and his Deviltrigger is a expression of what his mothers love and union granted him. Really I think this works and fits.
