Hi, Nick. Andrew here, the guy who stuck up for you on the Reddit post against all those super serious 'motion graphics artists' who gave you a hard time. My only suggestion has nothing to do with the actual script. I'd love to continue seeing your videos extrapolate further and further into what the script can do. Maybe they get darker and more surreal. It's the natural progression! Would love to see more videos like these where most of the content has nothing to do with the the actual script! Maybe throw in some multi verse stuff and some AI machines from the future! Anyway, great job. Can't wait for v2 so I can finally get the frig out of this jail cell!

I also have something in my mind, I was searching for over a year now. Im doin a lot of animation stuff with storytelling over Offvoices and creating pictures to scripts with visual puns and dynamic transistions ... whatever, you know what I mean.
So in this creating process I start to write my notes inside of after effects as a Textlayer in the time spots the Graphics will be seen. This kind of workflow is just way to slow and these added layers fill your comps and disturb a lot in the project.
What I need is kind of a notification Window (like the Windows "editor" text tool) that can be docked anywhere you need and that can be linked to specific time codes. So that you can scroll through your time line and the notes will swap with each segment they were linked to. Or the other way arround - you can click in the notes window on the chosen timecode to jump right to the point in your timeline.
It also should work for diffent Comps. It could have like a drop down menu which allows you to open notes from other comps. A bit like the essential Graphics window ...
To have at least a simple Notetool could help me in the first place. The timecode thing is maybe to complicated do. Well I dont know ... :D

If there already is a Plugin or script that works this way shame on me. =(

I had a scene where the horizon is more to the top (i know just tilt the camera / but that didnt work for my style) - would there be a possibility to include a horizon-slider or sth like it... / probably to dumb to explain my issue 🥲

Nice work. I do the null parenting and null scaling workflow for 3D, but the hard way! This is an easy buy! Appreciate you. Only a matter of time when Adobe incorporates AI scripting inside AE that can write and execute scripts with text prompts. Or maybe you can be the one to build that one? 👀

For some reason Nick keeps deleting my post, but for everyone else go to Vimeo and search 'Quick Parallax Rig for After Effects' to learn the null parenting trick. Worth looking into. Simple simple way of doing this, 10 second setup.
It look a lot like PT_Multiplane script (formely know as PSDto3D) from 2006!
This is grate man! Ty soo much! This will save us hours. I would like to have a script or a plug in to aplicate to an adjustment layer with turbulent displace, noise, glow and posterize time, all with one click. Is that possible? Do i need GPT to do that or there is another way that i can do it by myself? Im starting with Ae btw

Hi Nick! Thanks so much for the plugin! This is really WOWWW. And I just purchased it! But unfortunetely, "Apply" not works in my project (AE 2023). Rig works fine, but when I select the null and click on "apply", nothing happen! I've check with camera and Top view. I'd appreciate if you maybe could help my problem with the plugin, thank u!

I'm using AE 2024, and same thing here - hitting Apply to get layers in Z space is not working, it does nothing.
DUIK has a tool like that doesn't it?... but it scales the layers automatically... Maybe I'm going crazy, it's been a while since I used AE...

It doesn't work at all for me, the Rig button does create Nulls but on the same plane. The "Apply", "Reset", "Match Plane" & "Remove" buttons are unfortunatly not doing anything. Do you have any idea of why ?

wait. I clicked rig, clicked apply. now my layers shifted.... some are too close/big, some are too small/far... how am I supposed to control parallax now?
fixed it by hand, nvm... i was being lazy and thinking this would be a quick solution. it taught me to not be lazy and do the things the project needs. 2.38$ well spent, i guess
You simply adjust the numbers until you see no shift.
z effect = distance backwards between layers
scale effect = use this to compensate for the Z
